5 stars all around. Our server was amazing and super kind. My son had a moment and spilled his water. She dashed in like a super hero, was super comforting to him, and understanding. The food was amazing. I recommend the Mongolian beef.

First time here. My husband and I came here tonight for our anniversary. Let me just say this was some of the best sushi we have ever had. The hibachi and appetizer platter, all amazing. Service was excellent! Will definitely be back. If you haven’t been, check it out.

I’m conflicted about this place and here’s why. I visited twice, once for sushi and once for Chinese food since they offer both. Restaurant was clean and neat, staff was very nice and attentive. I ordered salmon, yellowtail and unagi nigiri and a California roll. These are all staples in a sushi restaurant so it’s always a good test. They should always be able to nail these. Order came out quick and the presentation was excellent with good portions of fish. One problem though: the fish was essentially tasteless. All of it. And the eel sauce had a strange taste, may have been from a bottle. I returned a couple days later, staff again friendly and attentive. I ordered shrimp with lobster sauce and fried rice because this is a dish many Chine restaurants struggle with for some reason. Often the sauce is too thin or too gooey. Not here. They nailed it. The fried rice too. It was fresh tasting and not dried out. The shrimp were huge and perfectly tender, not overdone. I’ll be back, but not for sushi. Come here. Order Chinese food. It was a solid 4 stars.

Just paid 70 dollars for 2 orders of “hibachi” one chicken, one chicken and shrimp and an appetizer of crab rangoons. The meat and vegetables had no sear or flavor to them, they tasted steamed and were sitting in slightly oily water. They were definitely not cooked on a grill, which is the entire point of hibachi. Paid for fried rice but received white. Crab Rangoons were good but had way to little filling. Very disappointed, especially given what we paid.

I’m very very pleased with this restaurant! We came from out of town and decided to try this because we were craving sushi! We were definitely not disappointed. We had the crunchy lobster roll and the vanilla gorilla roll. They were fresh, fast and sooooooooooo good! The price wasn’t bank busting either. I would highly recommend if you’re visiting in Southport.
