South Shore Bar Pizza (SSBP) is a style of pizza that is extremely popular along the southern coastal area of Massachusetts, where I grew up. It originated in bars where the 10 inch pan pizzas could fit on the bar in front of a patron, and grew into a large, popular regional offering with many restaurants, bars and take out spots offering their own versions of this delicious pizza.

The food was excellent and the service was attentive. I walked in during the middle of a trivia night so I was in the mix of people for a few minutes. But once I was sitting and ordered, the food came out fast and hot. The clam chowder was great for being so far away from the New England coast. The pizza was surprisingly light but also had the feel of a deep dish pizza. It held the toppings and its shape but wasn’t weighed down by grease like most chain pizzas. It was fluffy dough and was cooked just right. The desert pizza was crispy and sweet. It worked just right to eat and not be a mess. I was glad that I didn’t eat much earlier in the day so I could enjoy it all.

I had a great time, cool relaxed fun atmosphere with great prices. But the food was were it really was amazing, great options for toppings for the pizzas and I highly recommend the stockyard pizza. The smoked hot wings were truly spectacular they are a must need when you visit here along with that straight out of Boston clam chowder. 10/10 would recommend and will go again.

The smoked wings blew away my taste buds with it flavor highlighted with a sauce . This was followed by a clam chowder that I can only describe as perfection. To top it off with a pizza, I only imagined in my dreams. Give this place a chance, and your expectations will be shattered.

This place is honestly a 100 out of 10. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I had the “breakfast pizza”(available on Sat/Sun only) and the “Fenway”. They were super delicious and I recommend everyone try them. The staff is also super nice, personable, and they made the experience just more enjoyable!

This place had amazing service and the food tasted sooo good! i got pepperoni with chicken and hot honey drizzle! so good but the pizza sizes are only meant for one person.(which is perfect for me). ordering a second pizza for my family:) service was also really good and very welcoming 10/10 would come again.

Came here after seeing it on TikTok and it was SO delicious! They were a bit busy but were friendly and hustled hard. Expect to wait a bit for pizza in the peak times but it’s totally worth it. Our group had the clam chowder, wings, and pizzas – everything was fantastic. Prices were quite affordable for the quality of food. We’ll definitely be back. Shout out to Brianna for the great service!

If you’re looking for the best pizza in the DFW it is here! It’s authentic Massachusetts Southside Pizza and the chef and his partner are from Boston. I had the “Zucchini Pesto” which was super fresh and flavorful! Spoke with the chef and he is super passionate after his craft which is the cherry on top! Definitely recommend this place to everyone!
