I’ve been eating here a really long time! My favorite are the cheeseburgers or the French dip!! Both are great, along with every other menu option. They have a wide variety to please the picky eaters. They have a large enough area to host a birthday party for I assume up to 25- 30 people. (Make sure to call ahead they do get busy but will do a reservation.) They are also just about 1.4 miles away from a Kentucky Lake boat dock. Also, at the boat dock there are bathrooms, camping areas (tent and camper) and a small park. Very family friendly area! Great place to stop off for a meal after being on the boat all day or stop on you’re way by to get food and drinks to go with you. They do have room for a full size truck and pontoon in the parking area. Pictured is a cheese burger with everything on it, delicious!

We chose to take a day trip up to ride the Ferry and eat here. The food the service and the people were so nice. We were having such a great time we decided to stay over-night at the hotel. Now mind you, the rooms are older but very clean and very nostalgic. After checking in we drove over to Paris and own the way back called the desk at the restaurant and asks them to check the temp of the room for us which they did. THIS S A GREAT DAY TRIP

We had a great time here. Service was top-notch! My New York Strip was cooked to perfection. It was definitely a great meal and extremely reasonably priced! It was worth the drive.

On a complete whim, we decided to eat here before a riding trip. From the food to the waitress, everything was absolutely great. I ordered the everything omelet and let me tell you, it is literally everything! This isn’t just a thing of eggs with some toppings sprinkled in, this is some eggs with a ton of stuff loaded inside! Absolutely great! And the coffee is great too. There were zero complaints from our table. The waitress said she has been there for 17 years, so you know these are good people.

Great old roadside restaurant with delicious, southern comfort food at a good price. Family atmosphere. We take the Danville ferry across the lake to get there. The Sunday buffet is awesome.

We eat here frequently and have never had a bad meal. They have a wonderful buffet on Sunday, but order from their menu other days. I had a hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and husband had, what he said was a very good hamburger steak with grilled onions. Complimentary soft serve cones for dessert. We can always count on fine country cooking, here. A huge salad bar every day.

I’ve been eating and staying at Southernaire almost my entire 57 years on the planet. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The rooms are always a great place to sleep and stay clean during a fishing trip. The menu is large here and if they serve it, it’s good, period. The owners and staff are always welcoming and friendly. People come from all over, by plane, car, motorcycle, trucks, boats, you name it, to eat at Southernaire which speaks volumes of the restaurant quality.
