We just happened to come here when they were doing a crawfish boil!!!!!! I got the mix crawfish and shrimp boil and the ol’lady had fried catfish. They were both excellent.

This place was delicious we tried the 2 piece fried chicken meal with Mac and cheese and greens and the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. It was a little wait for the food but well worth it. Our server heeatjer was awesome too!

For years I went to the Camp Bagnell restaurant and I hadn’t been back here in probably 10 years. I found the old place burned down and the new restaurant is called Southern Comfort. I went for catfish and oh boy I was not disappointed. My filet was crunch outside and hot and flaky inside. The coleslaw was fresh and not over dressed. Add to that the beer ice cold, filled to the top and prices right too. My server and everyone else i talked to you were super friendly and made my dinner even better. You NEED to go here.

We had a large group and tried several dishes. The catfish nuggets were absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere here is fun and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Will be back for sure!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Sat for over 2 hours and never received my food. The other people with me finally got their food after 1 1/2 hours of waiting and the food was cold and the potatoes were hard as a rock. Our waitress was amazing (wish I could remember her name) the owner was rude and tried to argue with us about the temp of the food and being loud & obnoxious! We won’t be back ever and won’t recommend this place to anyone. 2 hours of waiting and I’m having to go to Jimmy John’s just to get something to eat.

We were a little nervous about trying this place for dinner tonight but they blew it out of the water. Our “hostess” and waitress were amazing and the cook killed it on the real homemade mashed potatoes, fried shrimp oh and the catfish nuggets OMG!!!!! Would definitely recommend this place.
