Southpoint is an old fashioned diner first opened in 1954 as a truck-stop gas station with a restaurant. It serves old-fashioned American comfort food in a cozy room with retro details and middle bar table. The gas station is gone but Southpoint stayed open strong serving food 24 hours a day. It has become a staple of Stevens Point over the years and continues to serve great homemade food, fresh pies, and our famous chicken dumpling soup!

The food here is AMAZING!!! It’s very affordable and it really fills you up without the heavy feeling you get after some restaurants. First time going here and we absolutely loved the place, food, and customer service. Our kiddos loved the food and our waitress as well. Very family friendly and their pies are delicious!.
