I personally don’t want to tell you about this place but other people deserve to eat well.This place is chopped full of surprises. Fresh Italian food served along with the most gracious chef. The service is amazing they remember you for one and it like coming to your second come here weekly cause no other place makes Italian food so good.

What a nice surprise it was when we unexpectedly came across this restaurant. The proprietor welcomed us with freshly prepared mozzarella that melted in our mouths. The staff was pleasant, and the Italian food we received was fresh and genuine. The next time we are in the area, we will most likely stop by this eatery.

If I could I’d give them a 0 star. We ordered food to our job and they provided no utensils there was a big piece of garlic chunk in our food, it was cold, and a bit bland. We called to ask to talk to a manager, and the lady on the phone said okay hold on and we waited 20 minutes and then got hung up on. This is unacceptable and we won’t be ordering again.

We got take out and it was decent, but not special. Shout out to the roasted vegetable salad and the shrimp linguine (white style), those were quite good, the best of the 5 dishes we ordered. Bolognese was pretty good – not too heavy, which I personally like, but maybe a little bland? I felt that the tomato based pasta dishes needed more sauce (YMMV), but the texture of the pasta itself was right on. I think maybe we would have enjoyed it more if we had gone there to eat instead of carrying out.

My sister and husband had their rehearsal dinner at South Philly Italian Kitchen and it was wonderful. The staff decorated the restaurant beautifully and treated us like family! The food tasted like it was made with love (especially the cannolis). You definitely should try out this restaurant you want a restaurant that feels like home!
