Poke tuna nachos were tasty, but they should have cut the tuna smaller. It’s like 8 giant pieces so it doesn’t share well unless you cut the pieces smaller, which we did. Felt like a good recipe by chef ruined by laziness. Blue crab pizza is a total bust IMHO. We’re couldn’t taste the crab at all but that’s not to say it wasn’t good. Best dish we was the oyster sampler.

This is closer to a three star review but I rounded up. This is our second attempt at the “new” south market after not being thoroughly impressed the first time. But I like the view so we tried again.

Came here for brunch. The bottomless mimosas were on point and the food was great. The Brussel sprouts was my favorite appetizer. We also got the scallop and tuna dip, which was good too. For my entree, I got the shrimp and grits. I never had that before and it was satisfying. As basic as shrimp is, it stood out to me the most. Service, ambiance, and the view was on point and made a great Saturday morning. I would highly recommend to friends and family. I look forward to coming here for dinner.

Wonderful view and even more delicious food! The Chicken and Waffles were uniquely presented with spicy honey. The breakfast oysters were served beautifully and tasted even more amazing. That was my first time having oysters. Highly recommend! The Shrimp and Grits was a nice twist with blue grits and were definitely worth every penny!

I was skeptical at 1st! Most places seem great and the food is awful!! But I was totally taken by surprise. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great atmosphere, awesome view of the water, and great service. I had the vegetarian cauliflower pizza and was probably the best I have ever had. The taste was amazing. It’s a great chill hangout places with friends. Nice outdoor seating and even the bar area was nice. Plenty of parking….cant wait to go again to try something different.

Honestly one of my favorite spots for brunch and to get great oysters! Bottomless mimosas offered every day which is awesome when you work in the service industry. The view is absolutely beautiful.

This is a very nice, clean restaurant right before crossing the bridge to head to Gulf Breeze. The food was all cooked well and the server was friendly. The prices seemed a little high for what was served but still a good lunch experience over all.

We were recommended to try South Market and glad we went. Good selection of various dishes. The crab cake appetizer was excellent – plenty of crab and minimal breading. The fish stew (picture attached) is something you don’t always find and good to try. It had a good selection of seafood (fish, scallops, shrimp). The Key Lime dessert was well prepared.

Awesome food, awesome views, and an awesome menu! Not often do we find restaurants with so many gluten-free options that are actually good. Our oysters and burger were fantastic. Great service from our waitress Diana, we will definitely be back!

Probably one of my favorite places in Pensacola. I am a bit picky about my shrimp and grits. This has been one of my favorites so far in Pensacola. My husband’s salad was delicious as well. The crab cakes were super meaty and delicious. Not a bunch of fillers. Also, bottomless mimosas are a bonus! Excellent medium spicy bloody Mary’s. Everything was great and our server was great. A bit of a wait but we snagged a seat at the bar. #flitteringgingers
