Woodward Avenue Detroit Style Pizza was the TRUTH! It was absolutely delicious! I am a native Detroiter who grew up in the University District between Woodward Avenue/Livernois and 6 mile (Mcnichols)/7 mile. I also grew up going to Shield’s and Buddy’s Pizzerias. So my expectations were high. WADSP did not disappoint. …Loved the names of some of the specialty pizzas “Fast Freddy” and “Dearborn Mediterranean”. Will definitely be returning. Not a fan of the order format, though. Wish there was an actual stand alone restaurant.

Very cool food concept. South Ends Eats houses multiple ghost kitchen restaurants. I ordered at the kiosk in the entry and picked up my food from an assigned locker in the same entry. The process was really easy. I ordered a bagel sandwich and bagel from Crust Punk Baking. Both were very yummy.The bagels have great chew. I will definitely order again and try some of the other restaurants.

We ordered a few things and shared. The Classic Risotto Fritters were hot, crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The BIG SOUTH burger was huge! Definitely shareable; especially if you are trying a few things. On the burger, pimento cheese was delicious, the crispy onions were great, but I did crave more pickles (partially because I ALWAYS want more pickles). The Dill Potato Salad just feels like a great comfort food to me. The Hoisin Ginger Wings were sticky and sweet. I could have used a little more of a ginger kick, but we definitely devoured them all! Overall, the food was delicious.

The pizza was hot and fresh, with no shortage of pepperoni! The pizza sauce is definitely not your ordinary canned sauce, you can tell it was made in house and seasoned to perfection! I will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed the food. My boyfriend said the pupusas were delicious. I’ve personally tried two other spots and I must say this spot was my favorite out of all. Didn’t think I liked them honestly until now. The tacos were authentic and very good. Rice was buttery and delicious too
