We are the owners and operators of a food truck called Fork’et Me Not which specializes in private catering events across the Outer Banks. We offer catering for any occasion, whether it be weddings, birthday parties, or family reunions. We offer private catering to rental houses across the Outer Banks which offers a new and unique family experience where we bring the food truck to you.
We are located within the Surfside Plaza shopping, and have ample outdoor seating available.

I was looking for a vegan-friendly place to eat in Nags Head, and I stumbled upon South Beach Takeout, Catering, & Delivery1. I was pleasantly surprised by their menu, which had a variety of options for vegans and vegetarians, as well as gluten-free and dairy-free dishes. I ordered the veggie burger with fries and coleslaw, and it was delicious! The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the fries were crispy and seasoned well. The coleslaw was fresh and crunchy, and added a nice contrast to the burger. The portion size was generous, and I felt satisfied after my meal. The service was fast and friendly, and they even delivered to my hotel room. I would definitely recommend South Beach Takeout, Catering, & Delivery to anyone looking for a vegan-friendly place to eat in Nags Head. It’s one of the best outer banks restaurants for takeout, deliveries, and catering.

Multiple options for vegans and vegetarians across different categories of food. I got the Vegan Yum Yum Bowl. The tofu was fried to perfection—crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside. I was surprised to see that they have vegetarian AND vegan options, and are very aware and considerate of the differences and have vegan versions of most condiments (i.e. the yum yum sauce; if you click order now on google, and scroll down, you can see which condiments they have vegan versions of vs. not). It’s just so nice to see a place put some thought and consideration and VARIETY into their non-meat food options. 10/10 recommend and wish they had locations in other parts of the country

I found South Beach in 2020 when my family came down in May during the pandemic. We were looking for mainly takeout places. We ended up going back to South Beach two more times that week. Every year since then we have gone there 2-3 times during our week. That includes this year. It is a small takeout/delivery place in a strip mall.

We ate here twice while on vacation. It’s such a convenient carry out place. And super fast! Both times I called it was only a 15min wait on order. Best Yum yum shrimp tacos I’ve ever had. Rice and beans as a side were great make sure to stir in the red seasoning stuff on top. Fish tacos were great absolutely nothing bad with them, but those shrimp tacos were to die for. Kids had cheeseburger, grilled cheese, Mac n cheese, and chicken tenders and fries all were enjoyed and eaten. Fries are sliced in a half moon like shape. Make sure to ask for dipping sauces like ketchup or bbq and forks if needed. Highly recommend this place.
