99 bottles of beer on the wall and killer pizza, too! We were stopping through from Reno to Vegas and decided to hit up this place. Super easy to get to, atmosphere is fun and the food is great! Happy we made the stop, especially after reading some less than favorable reviews!

Limited options in the area but given that it’s ok. The pizza was ok. The drinks were ok. Cool atmosphere with a bar and pool table.

Great place to unwind after a long day in Death Valley NP. Tasty food and a comprehensive collection of Beer to go along. Definitely a must visit if you are staying in this cute little town Beatty.

Great atmosphere, friendly conversation, good ribs, and a huge inventory of beer plus a good spirits collection. Sign your dollar bill and it will go on the wall. Definitely a must stop.

Exciting old school saloon-style bar in the tiny town on the interstate highway on the boarder of death valley park with really fascinating selection or beers from the most further states and various countries, I was caught by surprise to experience such a wonderful place all out of sudden

Stopped in here this past weekend and I’m sure glad I did. Sourdough is a very unique place. The front is a bar. Awesome, huge bar! Room to the side with a pool table. The back is a restaurant. We walked in this place and felt like everyone were old friends, even though we never met. The cook and another patron were great conversationalists, and we ate while conversing. I had the 1/2 pound burger that I couldn’t finish without popping. Delicious! Signed the wall with a marker, got plenty of pictures of all the amazing car parts and other things hanging on walls, paid the check, and continued on my journey. I WILL BE BACK. You can count on that!

Pretty much the place to be in Beatty! The food is good and the staff really friendly. We were really impressed by Karen – the amazing chef who cooked excellent food and served us in a really good humored way. The beer was so good and the company so interesting that my wife had to drag me away!

We ate here one night in late Dec. after hiking in Death Valley. We ordered a veggie pizza with two extra toppings, and it was excellent! We were in the back room, away from the crowd and noise of the bar but had to go there for our drinks. Our server was friendly and efficient. Didn’t realize, until we got the bill, that the two extra toppings were $5 each. Surprise! Bill with tax and tip for the pizza was $50.

Good food for sure.however,1 of the dirtiest bars I have ever seen. Bathroom fan has 35 years of dust on it. Afraid of what the kitchen looked like. Owner/bartender pulled a fast 1 on us with switching cash and ripped us off of $20.00 Thinks he was clever? Jokes on him we will never go back and highly recommend taking a look but in order to avoid food poisoning from filth and having your money stolen, eat and drink elsewhere.
