I live near another restaurant and will probably go to that one in the future. I order online for pickup, I never get the text that it is done even though I check the box. About 1/3 of the time items are forgotten. Today was the bread with the salad. I traveled quite a bit away before we opened up the food and it wasn’t worth going back for the couple slices of bread even though the delicious bread is why we go here. Over all the place is fine, but do check your orders before you leave as there is a good chance they aren’t complete.

08/21/23 I know good help is hard to find but…seriously??? I ordered online and went in to the 510 Natoma Station location for pick-up. I got there at 5:50, ten minutes before closing. It was pretty dark inside and no one was in the front of the store. I finally yelled to see if anyone one was working. A young girl finally came out front and, without greeting me or even asking me what I wanted, went through these full body histrionics while telling me that all of the bread they had left was frozen. Huh? I asked how they filled my online order? Well magically, the bread for my order was not frozen after all. Note to the tool girl behind the counter- If you’re going to lie to a customer’s face make it believable; better yet, just tell me you’re tired and you want to go home instead of doing your job. Now that I know that there website touting fresh oven baked bread could be a lie too there could be better choices out there.

The food is a solid 5. However, the prices are understandably higher but for good reason. The Sourdough bread is not too thick, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Perfect! The clam chowder is pretty good. My wife ordered the salad with her 4” sandwich. The Italian dressing they provided was very pungent. So it’s safe to say a little bit goes a long way in our opinion.

Order the clam chowder meal along with 4 inch and 6 inch sandwiches spent $40. Got our order took first bite of chowder was cold. Gave it back to the waitress and they heated it up again which wasn’t long enough again still cold. Ask how come the clam chowder didn’t come with bread like at the other restaurants we order the same thing each time and always got bread with the soup. Ended taking it home to heat it ourselves. Seems they didn’t care. 4 young girls in there and did alot of talking and didn’t even bother wiping down tables as customers leave. We had to ask for a wipe to clean our table off before we even began to eat.
