I love this place and often recommend it as a place to pick up lunch or meet for work lunches / lunches with friends. Great variety and options for different diets. Soup, salad, and sandwiches can’t go wrong. I love the house salad and get it every time I go.

Such a cute shop and friendly atmosphere. I met the owner a year or so ago and stopped by to check out the shop. I quickly fell in love, and I’m not alone! Everyone at my work loves coming here for their lunch break! The menu changes and there’s a good variety of soups and sandwiches. I typically get a combo soup/sand but love to grab just a pint of soup on some occasions and there is a “pint club”! Definitely a great, local place to check out in Baltimore.

This is the best sandwich shop I’ve been to in the state! I got the French onion soup with the roasted turkey sandwich and it was incredible! The sandwich had a beautiful rosemary Mayo. The soup was divine. My friends got the cream of crab soup which was also delicious. I’m looking forward to trying everything on the menu

The ambience of this restaurant is perfect for enjoying a warm bowl of soup or eating a sandwich. The tables are painted beautifully and are each unique to a different theme. There is upstairs seating in a sort of cozy little corner. I tried both the Maryland Crab soup and the sweet potato and maple syrup soups. Both were great and full of flavor. I wanted to try the sweet potato and maple because I was curious if it would satisfy as a meal time soup, and it definitely did! I thought it would be overly sweet, but it was just the right amount of sweet and savory.

Had really good food here before, but when I revisited, the staff was horrible. I waited at the counter checking out the daily menu, while some people showed up to pick up their food. Suddenly one of the staff just yelled at me “GET OUT OF THE WAY!!” I was shocked and confused because there was plenty of space for people to pick up their stuff, and it made absolutely no sense to yell at your customer. I ended up leaving without ordering anything. Not sure if he was having a bad day or just a bad personality. Worst experience ever.

In town for work. Went to Soup’s on with a group of six coworkers. Cute little place. Food looked and smelled great. The gentleman working the counter asked if we had ordered ahead, which we had not. With a smirk on his face he kept saying we should have ordered ahead, and wouldn’t take our order. I mentioned to a coworker that maybe we should go someplace else, to which the gentleman responded that he didn’t care if we left. So we left. I hope that gentlemen was the owner because I would be very angry that was my employee. I prefer to eat and shop at small businesses. It appears that Soup’s On is doing so well that they didn’t need our business.

Great value (prices are good, not tax added, no tips accepted), nice variety (I got a cold, healthy soup on a hot summer day today), friendly folks. They also have sandwiches and a soup/salad combo.

Just ate here (portobello sandwich) for the first time after many word of mouth suggestions of awesomeness.

I really enjoyed going to this spot. It has character and charm. The food was tasty and the staff who i think is the owner is funny and helpful. My only issue was they were out of turkey but I think it’s a national shortage so not their fault however it limited my options.
