What a gem to find an affordable, family run spot in Tribeca! Was truly impressed by the quality and freshness of the food, as well as the vast menu offerings and generous portion sizes. Went for dinner with 2 friends and we especially loved the shepherd’s salad with feta and chicken kebab platter. Yassine took great care of us and his pride for the place transcends through the restaurant and the kind service.

This place is truly a hidden gem. I haven’t had such delicious mediterranean food in a while. The service was great and I got my food in no time. I would recommend the chicken gyro and lentil soup. They also had many different kinds of desserts, from turkish baklava to an amazing tres leches cake.

Once, I was walking hungry in Manhattan and went to Soup and Gyro. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, friendly waiter, delicious food and an interesting story about Turkey. The owner of this cozy establishment, Yasin from Turkey, makes everything at home, tasty, clean, and personally supervises the entire cooking process. They do a large carry-out service, but they do have a small seating area in the back of the shop. The staff is friendly and always have a smile for the customers. Service is good and pays attention to details.

Food is alright, but boy was the athmosphere bad. I really couldn’t have stepped into a less welcoming place. I think their staff needs some solid training in dealing with customers, because it felt like i was getting on their nerves the whole time.
