I ordered the fried salmon, mac & cheese, and candid yams. The seasoning on the salmon was so good and the mac & cheese was very good. The candid yams…… what can I say? They were amazing!!!! If you are looking for some good soul food on the run, stop by and be prepared for a nap after you eat.

Delicious food, friendly staff, large portions and reasonably priced. Recommend 100%. I’ve had the Jerk Chicken meal with sides of collard greens and potato salad. This dish also comes with rice, and a roll. They get pretty busy and it’s a small place, I’d suggest calling in your order for pick up if possible. I’ve noticed if you call within an hour of closing, they don’t seem to answer the phone for orders, but what I’ve read on social media, you can show up in person and place your order. This restaurant is a great addition to Asbury Park.

Excellent food! The meals we ordered were fresh and hot! The women running the place are so pleasant! I ordered wings, shrimp, mac and cheese, yams, and cabbage. My son, my husband and I really enjoyed the food, the flavor was outstanding! We plan on going back! Try their food, you will not be disappointed!
