From the time we walked in, the customer service was outstanding. I got the Brittany BLT salad with Fantasia fried chicken and smoked turkey bacon. It was delicious. I also tried the lavendar lemonade. It was so refreshing. Definitely worth the trip.

Okay here me out real soul food connoisseurs know that’s it’s not like what you get in the South. But that doesn’t mean it’s good. Pasta and Pizza is better in Italy but I love my American slices. This place is fairly consistent on quality whether it be busy or slow. It’s the most interesting menu out of all the other food venues at this location. Their variety of sauces is a compliment to any menu item even the plantains. I’ve returned here enough times to earn rewards points redeemable for two meals worth of food. If that doesn’t tell you this is a place to eat at then I don’t know what does.

DoorDash order. Food was just warm. But it was good. Ordered the create your own bowl option with a dessert. See pic. The lemonade was absolutely delicious. I know if i ordered there, food would have been hot. Definitely a good spot. Everything was well seasoned.

The mac and cheese is perfection. The caribe bowl was very good. I was a bit disappointed with the A. A. sandwich (hear me out) because it came in a bowl. I get that the sandwich was overflowing so much to be put in a bowl, which is great. Plus every aspect of it was delicious. Its just I wish I ordered a bowl instead as I couldn’t eat it as a sandwich. Next time I’ll order a bowl and get cornbread on the side.

10/10 must go to stop while in the north loop or if not head over there trust me. The service is second to none, and the food (we covered most of the menu) is even better. If you can believe that. But for all my spice lovers out there, tell them you can handle spice and the lovely manager and sister to the owner who made the menu will probably rock your world with their spiciest sauce. But get this, the sauce taste amazing too! All in all just know this is REAL SOUL FOOD and I left with the biggest smile on my face, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loved it. It was my first time in Minnesota and I really didn’t know where to order from saw the picture of the Big K.R.I.T chicken sandwich. I usually hate chicken thighs, but it was delicious. The fries were delicious. The sandwich was delicious. I was very surprised. Only thing I ask is that you guys build one in Philadelphia?

The Mac and cheese is shockingly good. The whole meal had a homemade taste. Highly recommend that you give it a try

I ordered a Caribe bowl, side chick salad, and fried tomatoes. In the bowl, I wish that the chicken tasted more jerk. I tasted some of the spice, not a lot of the jerk sauce. The plantains were my favorite part of this bowl. I ordered a side chick salad, I wasn’t a big fan of that either. I didn’t know what to expect with it, it was lettuce, cheese, and jerky. The best part of the meal was the fried tomatoes, I was really happy with how they came out. They came with a buffalo sauce as well, but the tomatoes were so tasty I only used the sauce sparingly. I was hoping the entire meal would taste better, if I did end up coming here again, I’d probably just get the fried tomatoes. The proportions felt a little small for how much money it cost.

I love the idea of having soul food available. But I’m giving them 3.5/4.0 stars because the food was too salty, the cornbread tasted old/hard and the chicken in the southern hospitality bowl was a bit overcooked. I’d say on a good day and if these things are corrected, I would probably enjoy this place.

This is the kind of place where if I mention I’m going to Soul Bowl, the rest of the family texts “oh get me a bowl”. I love the food here. The fried chicken is fantastic! They change the menu from time to time which keeps the flavors fresh. I always build my own bowls so I get everything I want. I usually got with the Mac and cheese and choose meat and sides depending on my mood. They are located in the Graze North Loop with some other fantastic restaurants!
