For a small building, it was nicely decorated and looked clean. This is not a dine-in type of restaurant. The food was okay. The macaroni needed more salt. The rib tips were a little tough. The meat wasn’t tender. The peach cobbler was mainly crust. I could only find 3 peaches. It had a weird taste. The greens were ok. I’ve had better soul food. That will probably be my first and last visit.

So it was my first time ordering here and I ordered a large side of dressing, greens rib tips, macaroni and cheese and seafood pasta salad. The dressing was flavorless. The greens were very bitter no flavor the ribs were cold and chewy. The macaroni I received look like it was maybe the scrapes that was left in the pan but the seafood pasta salad was fire. It wasn’t really good or hot there’s definitely room for improvement so I might try it again within a few months.

While visiting from Texas my boyfriend and I wanted some good soul food. I got the veggies plate . The candied yams and greens were really good. My boyfriend said the banana pudding was on point. The establishment is very nice in and out . A modern curb appeal . The only bad thing was my boyfriend’s order wasn’t taken and rung .He was a bit disappointed . He was looking forward to eating his catfish plate. But we would definitely have to revisit once we are in Detroit again.

This is my third time here since last month. So that should tell you something. From the grilled turkey chops, Rib tips and catfish all my dinners have been excellent let’s not forget the delicious sides. Collard greens, candied yams and the Mac N cheese are on point. The customer service is very polite.

Came from out of town & was looking for a good soul food place 10/10 I order the turkey chops macaroni & greens . The turkey chop was crispy and juicy the macaroni was soo good the greens didn’t have much flavor more on the healthy side but it balanced out the meal . when I come back to Detroit I’ll will be back to eat . Also the decor inside the place was nice and clean the customer service was good and polite food didn’t take too longer either.
