Sorrell’s On The Square is a locally owned restaurant with the goal of serving high quality food at a reasonable price in a fun, safe, and clean environment. We want our place to be a destination restaurant. We’ll do that by offering top-shelf ingredients, an eclectic menu, a well-trained upbeat positive staff, and by working with other businesses to showcase the best Coshocton has to offer.
“Instead of us going to Zanesville, Canton, Columbus, or Millersburg for something to eat, those people will be coming into our town” Gary Sorrell
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the WOW!

The service was excellent here. We had a party of 14 and they took great care of us. The food was average. We had the pretzel bits and loaded fries for appetizers. The fries were really good. The pretzel bites came with a caramel dipping sauce, which was different. I had the boneless wings. The parmesian sauce was flavorful, and the chicken tender. Mt daughter had the mac n cheese. She rated it a 7 out if 10. It was a low-key atmosphere, very clean and not too loud when we’re there on a Wednesday evening.

Wow, How have I missed this place!!! I ate here years ago when it was a different owner, but we were looking for a fallback after finding out the BBQ was closed on Tuesday and stumble upon Sorrell’s, and couldn’t have been more impressed, burgers, fries, tots, boneless wings, service, etc, all very good!!! Will definitely be back again when in the area, and will recommend to anyone in the Coshocton area looking for a good place to eat!!!

We have been here a couple of times for our Friday Night Dinner Out. The food is excellent. While I think it is crazy to charge extra for toppings on a sandwich, such as mayo or onions, the prices weren’t too bad.

Great little family run restaurant. Staff was friendly, menu had a nice selection, and the food was very good. I wouldn’t call it bargain pricing, but reasonable relative to every other restaurant around. Full bar as well.

We were in town from 4 1/2 hours away. Stopped into sorrell’s for dinner and it was amazing! Colleen our waitress was super cool and very helpful. I got their house burger the 1811 and it was better than advertised. I highly recommend! My son got the Mac n cheese burger. If you are in town and need a place for food don’t skip this place. Wish I could eat this burger again! GIVE COLEEN A RISE!

I sat at the bar and received outstanding service. The cute blonde behind the bar was very friendly and joked around. I went in looking for a ribeye, sadly they do not offer. Instead I ordered the bacon lovers burger with bacon and beer cheese on my fries. I wasn’t disappointed. Food came out faster than I expected. In all it was a great experience. Next time I’m in town I’ll stop back in.

My fiance and foodie partner and I had the pleasure of visiting Sorrells restaurant approximately two years ago during a trip to Amish country. Recently, we found ourselves passing through the area again in the spring of 2023 and noticed a car show taking place. Although we didn’t stay for the event, it piqued our interest, and we decided to return to Sorrells for a meal on June 23, 2023.

As we often camp at the Coshocton KOA, we recently branched out to find other local restaurants and businesses. Sorrell’s on the Square was a great find. We happened to be there when the special was half off boneless wings. They were delicious. We then tried different sandwiches from their menu and were all good. They have a great website related to their specials. Next time we want to try their beef short ribs. Their burgers and other meats are grilled over an open flame, which makes for a great flavor. If you are in Coshocton, you have to try them. We had no room for dessert, but later in the day we went to Earl’s Dari Drive-in. It opens at 2:00 and was another great find.
