Traditional Korean dishes, little bit of everything. Good Korean BBQ and sushi. I usually came here for family reasons. Their soup entrees and seafood pancakes were good. I noticed that the place is more run down than last I was here. Food is still good.

traditionally prepared Korean fare– large variety of dishes, all well-prepared and served quickly. Comparing with other Korean restaurants in the area, the varietal footprint is like Yecheon but this place chose to sacrifice an expansive selection for better quality. It shows. Caveat: Caters to a Korean native/expat’s palate.

Galbi and mul-nang-myun combo is still the best. First time back since the covid lock down. Price went up slightly but their portions are the same or slightly more? If you do the combo, nangmyun is $7. Complementary gaeranjjim was very nice. Will be coming back soon.

I had a good time here. I believe i just had my first sushigasm here hahaha (don’t know if that’s a word). my only one complaint is that the server was not very friendly. she just drop things off, pick things up without even looking at me. there was no feeling of warm at all. ok maybe i sound a bit needy here. anyway, onto the good stuff. i went here during lunch buffet time. the price is 15 including taxes. the buffet selections were a bit limited in my opinion comparing to other places around but don’t let that fool you of the quality of food! i thought everything was made with quality and was very unique and delicious despite the limited selections. my favorite was the spicy squid. can’t have enough of it. and don’t get me started on the sushi! perhaps this was a great sushi experience for me because i don’t really eat sushi that much and i was also very attentive to my eating, so i don’t have much experience in what sushi should taste like but this was definitely good! just a dab of Wasabi, a dab of of Gari, and a small dip of soy sauce with your favorite sushi and wow! i’ve never felt so much flavor in my mouth. That was so much joy and was definitely a highest point for me during this visit and food experience in general.

This place used to be the BEST Korean restaurant around town, and my oh my have times changed. It is not that busy here on a Sunday night, however they are extremely understaffed making wait times for food unbelievable. We have finished our galbi and yet we are still waiting for our naengmyun, which we ordered at the same time, to be served. The OWNER of the business went to the back to check on the order, only to come back and ask “this, this and this is what you ordered right? It’s coming right out.” We had to grab her as she was already walking away from us to tell her, no that is not our order.

I do not recommend this restaurant. I was born in Korea, living in NOVA for 30years but never experience this kind of service in my life. We had almost 20 people(family and guest) and waitress gave me pen and paper to write down the menu we want. Ok, I could understand that even I did not like it.but the worst part was we ordered galbi and the waitress refused to cook the bone part.

This used to be my grandma’s favorite Korean spot but the last time we came the waitresses were very rude. I guess they assumed that I wouldn’t tip well because I took my non Korean friends with me so they took the liberty to add a 20% tip without my consent! How rude? I was highly upset at the poor service and mistreatment. Do not go to this place!!! It is not what it used to be 10 years ago. I should have tipped nothing but I’m not petty. I let them have it. But comment to the owner please tell your staff it is illegal to write there own tip on receipts!

Our go to Korean for consistently good food. Only downside is their requirement that you get two of the exact same meat to turn on a burner.
