Great new restaurant. There is nothing like it in Franklin County. Really good food, we enjoyed everything we ordered, the fried cornbread is amazing. It’s a very relaxing, inviting and mello atmosphere. If th band isnt playing the jazz music is playing in the background. And the Beignets…. hot and amazing. Sonny the owner is out visiting with the patrons making everyone feel like family.

Fun little place with lots of character and personality. The absolute best turnip greens I’ve ever had and the spicy chicken drumsticks were life changing. I just wish I had known about this place sooner. Go. Eat. Enjoy!

Great place to eat either BBQ or Louisiana style gumbo, jambalaya, red beans @ rice, beignets etc. with great sides too… Beverages include a good selection of beer, iced tea, soft drinks… Friendly efficient staff & live Jazz music on certain nights…. Note only open on Friday & Saturdays….

Owner very nice but his staff is very unattentative. They acted as if they have never been a waitress before and walk around bumping into each other carrying one cup or plate at a time. Don’t know how the food was because the waitress never came back to our table. We left.

This town offers minimal options in great-tasting unique food cuisine. Not only in great-tasting food but provides a weekend source of entertainment that is unique. Sonny’s On Main provides something that I did not realize was greatly missing, a great environment (I hear they play live Jazz music Yay!) that fuses equally delicious food! Sonny’s On Main is uniquely decorated with art, New Orleans, and Jazz/Blues memorabilia that transports you to another place. I ordered fried shrimp, Gumbo, fried cornbread, red beans and rice, and beignets. The food was heaven to my taste buds. It was the type of food that your heart breaks and misses when you finish it all. Highly recommend!

O,man such a great place to eat & relax as you listen to the Blues & Jazz music. Sonny’s & his staff are very friendly & will make you fell welcome. The Louisiana food is spot on with whatever you decide to eat.

The ambience is great! Tasty cajun food. Owner and staff are friendly and outgoing. We went to hear the live Blues/Jazz music, but unfortunately no band was playing both times we were there.
