I went here because I had a taste for a good hotdog. Unfortunately, this location did not satisfy my craving. I have never had a hotdog so dry! The chili was bland and the slaw beneath was tasteless. The home fries had ZERO seasoning. Thankfully my daughters enjoyed their meals but they had to add seasoning to their food also. I can’t speak to the cleanliness of the store or the customer service because I didn’t go inside. I don’t think I will eat here again. Big disappointment.

First time I have had a bad experience at Sonny’s. I’m a native Rock Hillian and have been a customer since The Dutch Mill was on Cherry Rd. Today I called in for 2 hamburgers with mustard, chili, and onions with a side order of crinkle fries. The hamburgers were both cold, the chili dry, and so few onions that they were undetectable. The fries tasted like they had been cooked and sitting out for a couple of hours. I tried to heat in the microwave but still were inedible. The cost was $12.50. On Sonny’s website it still has hamburgers listed at $3.75 and fries at $2.00. I asked the cashier how much the hamburgers were and she said $4.50. I told her I had checked the menu online, and she denied they even have a website. The counter had a sign offering a 4% cash discount. I paid cash but no discount was applied, so I’m thinking no real cash discount, but rather a 4% upcharge for using a card. Just a big disappointment today from a place I’ve grown up loving…

Sorry I guess I expected more, reading reviews gave me impression this place had something to brag about. I got hot dog all the way and onion rings, hubby got BBQ sandwich with extra sauce we both got tea and total cost $19 which is a little high I think but now we know since We were looking for something different other than chain or gas station hotdogs. Rock Hill is really lacking in good hotdog vendors since Birddogs left no longer in front of Lowes or Home Depot.

I took my son bike riding at Riverwalk Park one evening. We went a little late and were super hungry so we went to Sonny’s Dutch Mill after. My 7yo crushed a double cheeseburger an fries and kept going on and on about how good it was.
