I am not one to leave reviews but this is the 3rd time I’ve ordered from sonic and had awful service. I ordered on the app at 8:43 and checked in at 8:45. I did not receive my order until 9:20. I had to call in to check on my order and the girl on the speaker said “we have your order right here, it’ll be right out”. We waited another 15 minutes before the food was brought out. It was cold, like it had been sitting there the whole time. I called back in and the girl over the speaker was rude about it. They brought out “fresh” fries (I think it was the same fries that had been microwaved). The burger was not what I ordered and it the chicken sandwich was cold and hard. I am highly dissatisfied with this place. Management really needs to get it together.

Sugar Sweet

Do not order food if you are in a hurry. The food is good, even though my order usually needs to be remade due to a wrong order or cold food, the management will always remake your food. Only give 2 stars because I have sat in my car for about 1 hour on multiple visits just to make sure my food is correct or hot. They also never put enough condiments on our burgers after we ask for extra.

I like this sonic which is located in portales NM verses the one I go to in clovis. The food was hot and good, it didn’t taste old like it was kept hot under a heat lamp. I ordered from the app which sometimes I think is longer than just ordering at the stall.. check them out and happy hour is pretty good.

I went there for lunch today at 1230. The place was busy. I pulled into Stall 28, pushed the button and waited. I waited so long that it timed out, so it pushed it again. Same thing happened. Nobody ever spoke to me over my speaker. I totally understand they were busy at lunch time and I expected to wait a little bit. I eventually pulled into stall 21 (things had slowed down), pushed the button and waited again. No service, no help. After waiting almost a total of 30 minutes I said to heck with it and left.

In portales New Mexico they need to improve the parking the way you have to go in off of a busy street can cause a wreck very badly I’m sure there’s been many there. They need a rollover think that how to enter and how to exit so they won’t be no wrecks. I always buy a bag of ice but the price since last summer has gone up three times more than what it was last year for just a simple bag of ice ridiculous price

It is 10:40 pm right now as I am submitting this review. I arrived at 10:19 to the Sonic in Portales, NM. As you can see in my screen shot they are supposed to close at 11 PM. I pushed the red button to order at 10:22. I waited patiently and there isn’t an answer on the speaker, then the lights go out and individuals (again as you can see in the picture are playing around at fountain. At least have the courtesy to let customers know that are waiting on the intercom to order that your closing early before turning out lights. One of them walked in shortly after arriving in car., I don’t think he was on the clock at the time. Also note in pictures, no masks are being worn, no social distancing respected. Obviously this place doesn’t care about customers, commitment, or sanitary practice. I will not risk getting sick at a place with such low standards.
