The drive in was clean as soon as I got there. I had Tony bring out my food and he was very courteous. I ordered Fried Chicken sandwich on Texas toast no tomatoes ( I think it was like a Chicken Club or something like that. I added bacon and it was fresh and tasted great as well as my fries (they were nice and hot with just enough salt). I hadn’t been to Sonic in almost 10 years and I’m glad I came back, it was so worth it.

We stopped for lunch. We were hot, tired and a little cranky. We ordered a chicken sandwich plate, with the sandwich cut in half, no pickles, add tomato, tater tots and 2 teas, unsweetened. They were pleasant taking the order. The lady bringing us our food was chipper. Our food was correct in every detail, and yummy. The tater tots were hot and crispy. The tea was dark and strongish, very tasty. And we had shade to park in. A thoroughly pleasant experience. We left happy.

This spot has been a consistent 4.5 stars for the past 6 years I’ve been visiting. They seem to do better at retaining employees than other fast food places. One guy Tony has been there a long time and we always look forward to seeing him. There’s also a cook/manager guy with the hair that’s turning grey, he seems solid and has been there a long time. There used to be a young shorter black guy with glasses who was always doing a good job, he finally moved on, but he stayed there a very long time too. I hope this Sonic pays its employees well, they deserve it, I’ll keep coming back as long as it stays the way it is

I try to give Sonic a chance, but sadly, the couple of locations I have visited have disappointed. I’m not sure if they have faulty speakers and screens but we had to move to another one to try to get our order in. After a struggle, we finally did, and when the food came, it tasted like it was fried in old oil (kids chicken strips and some cheese tots).

Ordered a cheeseburger and tots. Tots were full of grease and I watched it drain through the box, bag, and onto the seat of my car. Very gross and tossed them in the trash.
