We just stopped at the Sonic in Carthage TX. Little town, busy little restaurant! And the staff was so friendly! They were very fast, courteous, and efficient. They followed up with us several times, always chipper and kind. It was a great experience.

I’ve noticed there are differences in the quality of the same menu items from one Sonic to another. One Sonic may have delicious tea while another has weak tea that has a peculiar aftertaste. At some locations, the vegetables on the burgers seem fresher, crisper…these are just some examples I noticed. Certainly, I may have visited on a day when there were unusual circumstances, making my experience also not the norm. This visit I got a Chocolate Monkey shake with a squirt of fudge sauce. It was okay; the fudge was at the bottom of the cup and had to be dug out to blend through the drink plus the banana was almost undiscernable. It wasn’t bad but it was disappointing. One thing that was excellent; the servers. The younger lady on the order mic spoke clearly and distinctly and checked to be sure our order was right. The young lady who delivered our order to the car was friendly and gracious.

Had to edit my own good review from months ago! We eat here at least once a week. Never had a problem until now. The little girl on the intercom was extremely short with us, obviously did not have patience at all. Cut our order off and didn’t let us finish and when I complained about it, she retaliated with the following pictures of what is supposed to be gravy, and by shorting us sauce for pretzel sticks. We had to make a second order for my be to get his own food. He was very angry and wanted to leave but I told him to wait. Was not pleased with the outcome!

I appreciate the manager for being respectful to my issue and responding. I am a visitor to Carthage for a band camp at the college. Decided that I wanted to reward my students with drinks. Once I waited at least 5 minutes just to order the young lady had an attitude because I ordered as many as 9 drinks mostly small I had an attitude back as well already irritated that I was patient enough to wait on her to take my order due to a small line. I got to the window and she asked if I needed a drink carrier… trying to be smart she . Left the window and took her time making the drinks. She told me my total at the window instead of doing so while taking my order. So she walks off from the window again as I was trying to get the correct change which didn’t take me long . Came back and I’m pretty sure I asked for drink Carriers to still be handed drinks plus the carriers. She started talking under her breath as now I’m mad taking the drinks frustrated from her and she makes a remark “Jesus help these babies” and my passenger wasn’t involved in that conversation. So I stated she needed help with customer service My aunt who knew the manager told me to call her directly I greatly appreciate her professionalism . I’m not usually the one to call and leave a review but this will be the first time and the last time I make a stop while visiting.
