Lord, I got a cheesecake shake from here at 4:30, by 5 my stomach was bubbling and now here at 6:20 I’m attached to the toilet in the worst of ways. My shake wasn’t very firm, it was was softer than soft serve. Sonic shakes are usually almost as thick as Dairy Queen blizzards but not this time. Definitely will not be returning to this location when I’m in town.

Update, June 17, 2023. What has happened to Magnolia Sonic! I would give 0 if I could. Placed order on my phone app and begin my wait on order, notified it was in kitchen and shortly notified on its way. 10 min later I am still waiting, finally push red button, female says she doesnt see my name, stall or order! I reply, I’ve already paid via app and notified on it’s way. No response! I hear her on intercom taking orders nearby. Rude. Push button again, I wait another 10 min hoping for response or delivery, NOPE. Oh btw there was less than 5 cars whole visit so they weren’t slammed. I finally leave. SOOOO….Magnolia Sonic patrons beware, DO NOT use app you may pay for food/drinks you never receive, like me. I am so disappointed in Magnolia Sonic

Another one of magtowns 1st and original hamburger restaurants. Opened back in the early 1950s. And of all the fast food restaurants in magtown its probably the best one. The country fried steak sandwiche, large order of onion rings and a route 44 sweet tea. Mmmmm. It’s been in magnolia longer than I’ve been alive. I was born during the Johnson administration. During the Vietnam War, a war we had no bussiness being in if you ask me. But it was in its old original location in my wild days. And it was called The sonic when I was growing up and magnolia was an exciting , booming, and hyper town. And when we could go off campus at school to eat lunch. Magnolia is a dead town now. Its called dragnolia now. Boring and nothing to do.

People at magnolia sonic need some kind of class on serving the right way was at this sonic for 15 minutes waiting on 2 shakes when they finally did come out only had one shake. Can’t get their stuff together

I’m giving it a 5 simply because of the manager and how much she helped me. I hate that I didn’t get her name! We got to sonic close to 9pm, we ordered our food through the app and had MAJOR ISSUES. Called the magnolia sonic 12 times and never got an answer. (Found out their phones are not working)We asked to speak to the manager, she came out to talk about our order and let us know that they did have chicken strips even though the app said they were out of them. We had order burgers in place of the chicken, and she let us change it back to the strips and was super nice the entire time. Then she delivered us our order herself, read off what we got and waited until we checked our entire order before the left us. She was absolutely amazing! I wish We had gotten her name! She’s the perfect example of a manager!! And has EXCELLENT customer service, and we will definitely be back to that sonic JUST because of HER!

This place has poor customer service and I will NOT be returning. I spent $24.37 for a #3 & #5 and I substituted one drink for a Double Oreo Blast. When the car hop Megan brought the food to the car she quickly received the cash payment and walked back inside the building. I immediately looked in the bag to check the order and the #3 was missing. I called back inside to notify them that I didn’t receive the whole order. Megan came out a total of 3 times to argue that the food was made. All I know is that I did NOT receive it. After waiting 4 minutes for the order to be made Megan ONLY brought out the burger. I had to catch her before she walked back in to tell her that she didn’t give me fries. She then walked off fast in a hast as if I was getting on her nerves. I then had to wait another 4 minutes for her to bring the fries out. I placed my order at 9:25 pm but didn’t get to leave with a complete order until 9:51 pm. Do NOT come to this location and have to deal with BAD attitudes while you spend your hard earned money.
