Back in the day, I use to take the family to sonic on a nice summer evening for some tasty treats. I’m a farmer and frequently keep some late supper time hours, so I looked on the internet and it said sonic closes at 10:00. I arrived at 9:10 to be informed that they are closed. A few days later, I decided to try again. I pulled into Sonic at 8:30, and again I was informed that they are closed. I looked at the website to make sure I wasn’t seeing things and sure enough it said closing soon. Tonight we were in town and I reluctantly pulled up the sonic app. 1/2 price cheeseburgers what a deal. After trying to get the app to work for about 10 minutes it finally said they are not taking mobile orders after 7:40. I looked at my watch, it said 7:41.

Stopped at Sonic this morning. We could see that a young lady was having problems with her headset. We watched and waited for about 15 min. She was still playing with the headset. A truck from California, sitting next to us, backed out and left. We waited a few more minutes, and then we left and went to McDonald’s, so did the California truck. My question is this: If your headset isn’t working, couldn’t you walk outside and get someone’s order? Wouldn’t that make sense?

Since they re-opened, don’t order anything with the chili. Don’t know what they did, but it tastes and looks like cat food. Other food items, though, are good. Employees answering the order speaker talk very fast and mush their words together, very hard to understand them.

The app only works 50%of the time with this location. I can’t pay at the store with the app either. The app says they’re closed all the time, so because of that I go elsewhere. Then when I drive by they’re open.

Today is a promotional day. I pulled up to the kiosk at 11:45 and pushed the red button. I watched one car hop run his head off. The car next to me was there before I was. At 12:00 they turned off both of our wheel would be right with you buttons and said push the red button to place your order and we will be right with you. 15 minutes and not even acknowledged. Then when I got the car hops attention they didn’t offer to put us back in line even where we were when we got there. If it was possible to revoke a business license for absolute ineptitude this place would take the cake. Only been here 3 or 4 times and the only thing that I can say good about it as that a couple of the car hops have actually gotten better than what they have been in the past. Actually two good things they’re not open 24 hours!!! Finally left at 12:10 with absolutely no service of any kind order or otherwise.
