My family is new to this area and we’ve all had issues with this Sonic. Today I took my son to get his lunch here which was a #2 with mustard, ketchup and pickle only, fries, medium coke zero, onion rings and 2 Route 44 Dr. Peppers with Xtra ice. We found no receipt nor were we asked if we wanted a receipt. So that info isn’t available. We get home to find fries burnt, onion rings were almost burnt but also were broken up into a couple of strips and underneath were blobs of dough with a small piece or 2 stuck on it. It was disgusting to say the least!other than this visit, we’ve visited prior and had to wait for insane lengths of time to order and receiving a simple drink when maybe 1 or 2 other cars were there. It also appears that only 1 car hop is to handle order take out. No wonder this place doesn’t appear to keep the same car hops employed here long at all. Most importantly is the lack of quality in the foods served here. Leaves to question if the few employees are not proud nor happy to work here. We’ve ordered drinks with extra ice since there’s barely a few ice cubes floating on top which melts quickly causing a watery drink, and a waste of money as it gets dumped out. In the ’80’s when I was an employee at another Sonic, we had an adequate crew who enjoyed our jobs and delivered good quality products with courteous attitudes and smiles on our faces.

“how can I help you? Just so you know we close in 5 minutes” cool, so I still have 5 minutes to order. All I wanted was some soft served with hot fudge on top, neither of which need cooked. Wild! How y’all don’t want to take orders when it’s still time to take orders.

Had a TERRIBLE experience there around 5:30pm to where I do NOT plan on going back. I waited awhile to even have someone say hello through the drive through. I should have left then but eventually someone gets on and says sorry for your wait. I place my order, get up to the window where she takes my cash payment right away of course. Also asked if I wanted my change back. Only then to make my little one and I wait an extremely long time, not to mention the time waited behind one other car in front of me and the car behind me waited so long they just decided to leave. I would have too but already paid so I knock on the window to be ignored then handed what turned out to be cold food. I’m guessing because the drive though line was forgotten about. I had 2 simple grilled cheese burgers and a small tot which was the “special” they’ve been advertising. Tried to call back in which no one would answer the phones there. I’m highly disappointed as Sonic use to be a great place to go but anymore it seems like most locations for Sonic don’t have anything together and kindness is definitely not there.

I went tonight and ordered a breakfast burrito and git a huge one with jalapeños. I can’t eat those. My husband’s cheeseburger was cold and dry. The drinks are watery. We’ve not had this problem for a long time.

Been to this Sonic many times and they’ve just continually gone downhill. This will likely be the last time we go there. We ordered ahead in the app for two slushes, a large onion ring, and a large mozzarella sticks. We get there roughly five minutes after we submit the order and (after four attempts to find a working drive-in stall) proceed to wait nearly 30 minutes for our order, all the while watching car after car go through the drive through and several others drive up to the stalls, get their orders, and leave. At that point, the order runner comes out to let us know they were out of onion rings and offers us a large tot or fry to replace it. The onion rings are classified a premium side and cost $1.40 more than the regular sides but since that was offered and we were tired of waiting, we took the tots and (finally) left. We start eating the food and the mozzarella sticks were cold as if they’d been sitting in the bag on the counter the entire wait time, and the tots weren’t even fresh. All-in-all, the order wasnt worth the $19 we paid for it. Needless to say, this location needs help. They need people, personality, and apparently a new ordering manager.

This is the third and final terrible experience I have had at this particular sonic. Arrived at the drive thru to order, someone asked what we needed and we told. We ordered a LARGE chili cheese tot, a small onion ring, and a large Dr Pepper light ice. No one responded to us. We pull forward after 5 minutes to get to the window to have the associate run around trying to figure out who took our order; they had no record of it. Didn’t even have onion rings. Did not receive my large Dr Pepper and got a small side of chili cheese tots in a large container. DO NOT GO HERE. I’m done.

I have gone to the Oak Grove Sonic 3 times in the last 4 weeks. All 3 times I did not receive my large tots that I paid for. Twice I went back, the third time I was in a hurry because I had to go to work. Tried calling them for 2 days but they never answered the phone. Contacted corporate who offered me a medium tot? I said no, I just want a refund but have not received a refund at this time. Everything else was fine, but don’t understand why I never receive my tots. I will not go back to this location.

No one answers the call button on the drive up stands, IF you can find one that works. Oh…….also, no ice cream for them to make the Strawberry Shortcake Snowball Slush Floats. How the heck can a Sonic run out of ice cream? Am i in The Twilight Zone? I was unable to order. I have lived in Oak Grove for roughly 8 years and gone to this Sonic about 6 times because it is ALWAYS like this here. Your wait in line will be painful. Go to Grain Valley location.

Got a route 44 drink and a cheddar bite today. Was at the drive thru window for 22 minutes. Get my Cheddar bites so burnt and crispy could break a pitcher window out. Time 2:31pm. Then ask me if I want to come back and get my order replaced. No you took almost my hole lunch break. Waste of my money and my lunch break.
