SLOW. I hope you have 30 min. at LEAST to wait in the DRIVE-THRU. This is all the time as well. Employees are usually on their phone when you get to the window or joking around. It is insane. I think I am insane for still wanting to go because I love the Sonic Cherry Limeade.. but the wait really isn’t worth it anymore. What a disappointment, honestly.

I ordered ahead on the Sonic app. I arrived, and as usual, checked in at one of the kiosks. I waited 30 minutes as I watched the “in the kitchen” icon spin around. I finally went inside to check my order. There was a note that said “ring bell” I looked the bell was broken. there was a smaller note that said please push little black button. I finally found the button and pushed. I heard the ring, but apparently no one in the back did as 3 of them were on their phones. I rung again, no luck. Finally a girl came out of the back, walked right past me and into the kitchen. I waited a couple minutes and rang the bell again, then again. She finally came out and said “I’m sorry, I forgot you were out here” I then asked about my order and told her I’ve been sitting in stall 5 for over 30 minutes. She asked who took my order. No one said anything. After 5 minutes or so she comes out with a wrinkled, ripped bag and said “I didn’t know it was a call ahead order”. The tots, poppers and sandwich were cold. The burritos were only lukewarm. This is my third bad experience at this Sonic location. I’m afraid it will be my last too. We used to love eating at Sonic, but since moving here to Decatur we have yet to have a good experience at the E. Prosperity Place location. I’d give zero stars if I could.

Stopped in to get an ocean water. Pulled into the drive up and there were 2 cars in front of me. No one at the pull-up kiosks either. Took then 3 minutes to finally confirm I was at the drive up speaker, then another 15 minutes for them to make 2 drinks. Employees were in like pajamas…. this is by far the laziest sonic I’ve ever been to.

The worst the worst Sonic location ever. Waited 20min at drive thru, looked inside the window noticed everyone was joking around. I ordered # 12 never received it, I ordered 2 hot dogs specifically said NO RELISH well the picture shows how much they are listening. I grew up in AZ and have fond memories of going to Sonic. I love Sonic and it’s menu. If you have ever had Sonic, then you know what I’m talking about. If you’ve never had Sonic or only eaten at this one, then go to a different one and you’ll get it too. This one is a lost cause and gives Sonic a bad name. I’ve been 4 times. 3 times were atrocious. 1 time was decent.

I love Sonic’s food and I have lived in other places that have Sonic restaurants. So, I have a pretty good idea of what to expect. Unfortunately, this one is in dire need of better management. Every time I have gone, the service has been extremely slow. I’m a patient person, but there have even been times when I left because it took so long for someone to answer the intercom to take my order. It’s surprising to see there are several kiosks falling into disrepair, considering the restaurant has only been here for a few years. This place needs some TLC from the ownership.

Where to start! Went through the drive thru waited for 20 minutes no one in front of us no one behind us they where in the kitchen talking, on the phone! When we we finished ordering we said thank you her response was YUP! Then we waited for 15 minutes for three drinks and a pretzel I had to get out of the car and remind them the drinks were just sitting there and they didn’t want to serve to us! I would described the two young women as lazy, rude, no motivation find better employees that actually want to work and have customer service! This Sonic’s always has problematic employees

We’ve only tried their drive thru breakfast, but it was pretty good. The loaded burritos were really good, as is the breakfast sandwich on Texas Toast. The service in drive thru was somewhat slow on our second visit, but it was overall a decent experience. The cherry limeades were REALLY good. I honestly felt like you get a much better value for your $ than most other ff restaurants. Plus, they serve a full menu all day. I like that.

If I could give half a star I would. Went through the drive thru to get 3 drinks and the lady asked multiple times what we wanted. Once we got to the window she was talking on her cell phone for a good 2 minutes before finally taking our money only to proceed to get back on the phone and continue her call without making the drinks. 5 minutes later we finally got our drinks. Terrible service.
