I was driving home from the car wash and decided to get me and my friend some food and thought Sonic would be great because I saw they chili and fries on their menu and wanted to try it out and I sat in the parking lot for awhile trying to decide on what I wanted. While I was waiting, the manager Tiffany saw that my license plate was missing and offered me to come in and get chili cheese fries because I’m from Cincy and wanted to taste a hometown connection here in Alsip. The visit was quick and I was able to get everything I needed plus try out the new Buffalo bites in a jiffy. The food she offered to get me was great. I was able to get myself and friend a Philly sub, fries, tots, the new item and drinks for both me and my friend at a reasonable price point. The philly sub was hot and tasty and hot and the drinks were delicious and cool. I’ll be sure to be back to visit the friendly crew! And thanks for helping me get home safely

The WORST Sonic I’ve ever been to. My onion rings were absolutely soaked in oil and had almost no breading on them, my cherry limeade was just limeade just a hint of cherry, and they didn’t even have what I wanted, despite the local online menu stating they did. And to top it off they don’t take any bills over $20 so I had to use my credit card for an order that was damn near $50 for this horrid food. Whoever owns and runs this location should be thoroughly embarrassed and should be shut down.

Supposedly they were out of ice cream at around 7:00pm like cmon this is sonic Corporate needs to get on all their facilities and make sure everything is working properly especially the ice cream unless the person in charge of the drive thru lied about not having ice cream!…..Fix This

Worst experience of my life. I pulled into the spot to receive my order since I ordered online in the app, I then waited there for almost 20 minutes then decided to go inside. Once I got my drink after I walked out I then tried it. It did not taste like what I ordered what so ever. I then went back inside to get for what I ordered. They forgot my sweet creme and my strawberries in my dr pepper with blue coconut flavor, vanilla flavor, sweet creme, and real strawberry. They then asked me to open my lid and added the phone from a cup and poured in some strawberries. Didn’t mix it or anything. THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE IVE EVER BEEN TO! NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!!

I’m a fan of Sonics. As I waited with anticipation in the long line with patience, I was ultimately disappointed. The food was cold and the tots were salty, which is confusing due to the long line waiting to enter the drive thru. From the looks of the line you would have thought they were giving away free gas. The food should have been fresh and not appearing as if it had been left in the warmer for hours. I called an left a voicemail for the manager. Don’t waste your time, just go to Portillos instead. Sad and frustrated. My replacement dinner is popcorn

I decided to stop at this particular Sonic because they had a special and I happen to be in the area. The time was around 3:00 in the afternoon and believe it or not they said they were out of the special. And the person that I spoke with through the drive-thru appear to have an attitude. This is my first and last time at this Sonic location! If I have to travel out of my way then I’ll just have to travel out of my way. And NO I would definitely not recommend this Sonic location to anyone not even my worst enemy !!

We went inside to order and waited 5-10 minutes. The one guy was nice enough to at least tell us “one minute “, but then they started arguing over who was going to serve us, so we left. After reading other reviews seems we dodged a bullet here and will not be going back.

I absolutely love visiting my family in the south and ordering a diet cherry limeade so I was excited when the sonic in Alsip opened. I waited 20 minutes in the line (which only had 4 cars ahead of me) at this location and received the drink seen in the picture (NOT a cherry limeade) I tried to hand it back to the worker at the window and explain he made a diet coke cherry limeade and I ordered a diet cherry limeade. He refused to take it back and told me this is how any diet cherry limeade is made. I’m scared to even ponder what the white powder floating at the top could possibly be. Needless to say, I’ll be waiting to order from sonic when I visit my family.

We decided to try something different for lunch, we ordered through grubhub, the food was so so, kinda bland, the Buffalo sauce was not spicy, and sadly neither of us were feeling so great after eating here. We marked this place off of our list of places to eat.
