Soooo slow. I’m not sure if they had enough employees today. The waitress said it was “hectic” in the restaurant…not sure what that means, but it took 25 minutes just to get a sonic burger combo with a lemonade, which was sub par.

This Sonic on Cedar is pretty good for the most part. The food is always hot and fresh, but it it super slow getting your food, I think they only have like 2 people working there at any given time. It took 45 min the other night for us to get our food. I saw only one car hop the whole time. That is not very good for business or for that one car hop, he had to be burned out.

We ordered on the app ahead of time. Indicated we were there on the app. Waited 25 minutes someone came out to give us a drink we ordered and a token for a free drink apologizing for the delay. Another length of time goes by, I pressed the button when the screen cleared saying the order was filled. I was told it was coming, waited an additional length of time to actually get our food. Half was cold, half was warm, nothing was hot.

Usually have a great experience at Sonic, this was no different. Second only to Dairy Queen in the Haygood area, their cheery disposition, attention to detail, and well cooked meals are always a plus. As a bonus, unlike Mc Donald’s, their ice cream is rarely down.
