The breakfast buffet was not good. Certainly not worth what we paid for it. The eggs had no flavor, the hash brown casserole had too much black pepper, the waffle was soft from being in the warmer with pancakes and the specialty pancakes were dried out from sitting under a heat lamp. The pastries were hard and dried out as well. The donuts in the display were absolutely terrible! They felt like they were days old and beyond stale. The only decent foods was the bacon and the biscuits & gravy. I could’ve gotten that elsewhere for much cheaper. I was very disappointed in this buffet and I feel like Dolly would be ashamed at that quality of food being associated with her name.

This is the first time we visited Song and Hearth. The restaurant is beautiful and everything was delicious! Great service by our sweet waitress, Dottie! They served prime rib and it was cooked perfectly! There was a cook that whipped up some alfredo for me…so good! Lots of food for the kids; bbq sliders, chicken strips, fries, pizza. The resort is also beautiful and there was a harpist playing just outside of the restaurant. Even the bathrooms are beautiful, y’all!

Don’t pass up the donuts. They have excellent breakfast and brunch on Sunday. There is so much good food but the simple old fashioned donut wall is super nostalgic. Fried chicken and prime rib? Yes, please.

Dolly Parton’s place definitely gets an A+. Catfish great. ribs great. people great. cleanliness great. you’re gonna spend a few $$ but you’re going to have amazing southern food. Ribs were number one over everything. Video review coming to the Jack on the go show on YouTube.

Good option after a day in the park if you do not want to leave the hotel. Fish, potato salad, Mac and cheese, and fried checken tasted good. Plenty of deserts, nothing special or rememberable though. Unfortunately, some of the food was also bordering on uneditable including the grease filled grits, way over cooked shrimp and hush puppies.

Thank you to Arlene in Room Service that made sure we had a reservation for Wedding Dinner Party on Saturday 07/15/2023. The Reservation system online was not working and I could not reach a manager on the phone. She is a STAR. Thank you to April King at front Desk, who made sure my requests for waters on the table for the Bride Allyson and Groom Koby: actually happened, when once again, I could not reach a manager. These two employees went out of their way for these Michigan guests and bridal party of 15. They had a great Time here. God bless everyone that made the dinner in the Restaurant a success. Ms Connie

The way the kitchen handles allergies is WORLD CLASS. My son has several serious allergies, and it’s so hard to cook for him. The staff was serious about allergies, and the one manager Gregory was seriously amazing. He checked ingredients, double checked, and had the kitchen safely make my son meals to a small child’s taste. We are so grateful for his service and hospitality. the best!
