Every single time I go here, the food is fantastic and the service is great – both for dine-in or takeout. I decided to try the curry puffs for the first time, and they were delicious!! The Pad thai and green curry my girlfriend and I got last night was delicious as well – just the right amount of flavor and spice.

I hate leaving poor reviews, and the service was fast and helpful, pricing was fair. But I have to say the food was disappointing. We’ve had great authentic Thai in many cities and countries, and so many positive reviews had us optimistic. Maybe we just hit them on a bad night, but across the board everything was lacking in the rich, complex flavors we usually enjoy. To be fair we didn’t order any curries like we usually do, and maybe those are good, but the Tom Kha Gai, pad thai and other dishes were all lacking.

We have loved the Somewhere in Bangkok that is in Southington for years and it has always been our favorite Thai spot, so we were excited to see they came to Avon since it is more convenient for us. The food here was just as excellent as the original location, fresh, flavorful and beautiful on the plate! And the service was great as well. We wish we lived closer so we could eat here more often!
