The waitress was very friendly, that’s as far as the good goes. We were super hungry, so I felt as if any food will taste great. I was wrong. First, we had to wait for the food a bit long, which we did not mind, not sure why though since the place was not even half full. We started with spring rolls, God they were awful ! It felt as if they were served way too hot and tasted as if they were refried several times, or just burnt, not sure which one is true. Since they informed us they were out of steaks, I went for something very simple and got the Chicken Fingers with Fries. The fries were burnt, so maybe overcooking their food is what they do. My friend ordered the Grilled Salmon, which comes with a salad and a baked potato. She barely touched the salad, it just looked tasteless and ironically the best thing about her meal was the baked potato. Not sure if it was their off day, but the chef needs to up his or her game.

Apps and sandwiches were delicious. The burgers were fresh and homemade, and not a pre-made patty. The wait staff were friendly and welcoming. We stopped in after coming back from the Phillipsburg train ride to the winery. They were a minute walk from the train station.
