Ridiculous! The food was nasty. Don’t waste and time. Not worth the price. Spent $14 for a ribs, pork chop, ribs and dinner. The red beans and rice had to thrown in the garbage because they were spoiled. The potato salad was runny and the green beans were canned with a few potatoes and no flavor. The link and (1) rib obviously were boiled. This is not soul food. It is trash!

One of our favorite restaurants in the downtown area. We’ve had business meetings there. The environment is very welcoming. Customer service is impeccable. We created some ads for the restaurant as an appreciation for their customer service. The owners are very nice and we have a good relationship with them. One of our business owners they really like the catfish that is made here at the restaurant. It is the best catfish in Antioch area when it comes to Soul Food.

The fried chicken was essentially steamed on the way home. Fortunately, texture aside, the flavor was amazing. I could only imagine how much better it would have been with a crispy crust. The ribs were delicious and didn’t suffer as much from being steamed. I enjoyed the collard greens, I only wish there was a piece of pork with greens. The rice was the only part of the meal that I didn’t enjoy, the texture was watery.

The moment we walked thru the door the gentleman greeted us and made us feel welcome even thou they were closing in about 10 minutes welcomed us to stay which we decided to take out food to go. Speaking of the food the Cat fish was great the sides were great… if your in the area Give them a try. Definitely worth it.

Cajun chicken sandwich was pretty good, when it came to the burgers, one was good, the other had a funny taste to it and I couldn’t finish it. It maybe just a 1 time thing. I hear everything else on the menu so I’ll have to give it another go. Overall, not bad.

This food was absolutely amazing! I got the three meat, three side meal which is pretty much the best thing you could ask for it. Because there are so many varieties to choose from you can get three different kinds of meat and 3 side dishes and not miss out on anything. The portions are Hardy and the food is downright amazing. The yams are to-die-for and that pork chop was big enough to be a meal by itself! I can’t wait to go back!!!
