I have been here twice. I ordered different dishes and was pleased both times. Authentic food and consistent quality. It can be rushed but that is good for some 🙂 Likely to come back and try new dishes.

Sole Cafe offers a delightful Korean dining experience that my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed. We started with a seafood pancake as an appetizer, and it was a highlight — crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, a perfect beginning to our meal. For our main courses, we ordered the bulgogi and mackerel, both of which were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The generous assortment of banchan (side dishes) added to the authenticity of the meal, and the traditional-ish atmosphere, complete with food shows playing on TV, created a cozy and engaging ambiance. Whether you’re a fan of Korean cuisine or trying it for the first time, Sole Cafe is a must-visit. Delicious food and a warm atmosphere make it a standout choice.

Friends wanted Korean food so we decided to choose this restaurant. It wasn’t too busy but there was only the lady for host and waiter. We ordered Pork Bulgogi and beef bulgogi. The pork had just the right amount of spice and was very good. The host was friendly and checked in on us and had an enjoyable time with my little nephew. Overall, I would recommend.

This is the best Korean food I have had in MN thus far and I have tried just about all of them in the Twin Cities. The jeyuk bokkeum is bursting with flavor and has a good amount of fat. It’s pretty spicy though but super addicting! The solleongtang has a great broth with lots of black pepper (but not too much to the point where you’re coughing). The lady said we should flavor it with the radish banchan and brought us some more on the house. The tteukbokki is perfectly chewy with the right balance of sweet and spicy. It is also not overly soupy like most places we’ve tried, but has a thick sauce and comes with fish cake. Overall this place is delicious and has made me believe that there can be good Korean food here in MN.

Amazing food, great service. The food was all super fresh and hot! The Ojingeo bokkeum was cooked to perfection, chewy but not tough, good variety of head and tentacles, and a great balance of spice and sweet notes. The Korean pancake was hot and super tastey, and the dumplings were top notch. All of the side dishes were yummy. The server was super friendly and attentive, and they clearly loved being there. Cozy atmosphere. Everything comes out super hot and super fresh.

Everything was good and everyone was super nice! Dumplings and the Galbi were top notch! I drove 20 mins here because there aren’t any Korean places where I live and I’m glad I did! I really recommend it! I absolutely love the owners! They were so polite! I’ll definitely be back for sure!

Decent Korean food – about average for the Twin Cities. Better than Dong Yang, about the same as Kbop Korean Bistro in Minneapolis, worse than Kings Restaurant further north. Would be worth repeated visits, but – an old lady server drags the place down. She was curt and nearly rude to several tables around us (we fortunately had a decent experience, perhaps because we could speak a few words of Korean). The rest of the (younger) staff seemed nice, but she seemed to be the main/only server, and her attitude was one of impatience and frustration with the entire clientele. The restaurant would do a lot better without her.

My favorite Korean restaurant in the Twin Cities. The teokbokki (spicy rice cakes) is the closest I’ve found in MN to the quality you can have in Korea.

The dishes are made by order, so it is freshly made and hot when it comes out.(Spicy stir-fried calramari and bulgogi )The server was very friendly and the owner chef was also friendly with pride in the food. The taste of Koreans seemed to be a bit strong for my taste, but it seemed to be tailored to the taste of foreigners. All the side dishes were delicious. The quantity and price of the food were appropriate. We want to try other menus, so we will visit here again.(It’s good to have a Korean market across the street.)
