Our first time here. We were here for early dinner around 4pm on a Wednesday. It was only around 5 people there. Foul smell coming from the restroom area. Was not greeted when we came in because there was only one person covering the door and tables. The wife ordered spring rolls, pecan crusted rainbow trout, mushroom risotto, asparagus, cherry cheese cake, and mimosa. The spring rolls were good. Fried just right crispy and flakey served with chili sauce. My wife said everything was good. Her only complaint was that the trout was not crusted, and it only had 2 pecans on top. I ordered the prime ribeye (medium), mashed potatoes, and spinach. I also ordered lamb chops, roasted baby yukon potatoes, and asparagus to go. The prime ribeye was cooked a little over medium, more like medium well, but was really good. The spinach was cooked perfectly but was salty until I stirred it up. The mashed potatoes needed some help, they were dry and needed more butter, cream, heavy cream, or milk. I have not tasted my to go order yet, so I will update after I have.

Late post me and my wife we actually went there Sunday, April 17 to celebrate my brothers 50th, we we had a good time I read some of the reviews and I’ve been before and it was very mediocre this time was a lot better they didn’t have our seating ready when we first arrive but once we all got seated we had a good time the food was great the last time I went and it was great again this time I don’t really have nothing bad to say about Sophie’s and I would recommend folks give them a try.

Love their Sophie’s special burger, its a calm place, usually only a crowded during weekends, so you can go and enjoy a meal peacefully, sounds more like the place is in New York, but anyways. The Sandwich is decent and the side of fries are good as well. The bar also seems great, but I personally haven’t been to the bar, because I drink at home, clubs or in downtown bars. The place also has an outdoor covered seating. I think usually customers there enjoy the game at the bar and outdoors, kinda has a decent vibe of you have a good company of friends….

Bug with wings was found in mix drinks, only had one waitress, Calamari fried hard, mash potatoes served cold, salads order with salmon but was served with no salmon, margaritas was watering down,

The food was very good! Our waitress Shameka was very attentive and did a great job. The only thing is as they turn the restaurant into a party at 9pm they should have a cut off for dining in. As we were there eating they started the set up for the night party. And they sat the glass for their balloons on our table. That was very rude and unprofessional. It made us feel like okay time to go (rushed) but other than that it was good.

This is my first time here. I actually attended a Dallas Eagles Cowboys event. Ended up getting the lamb chops, and was truly shot down delicious they were! Drinks were good & the bartender was nice as well. Unfortunately, not enough bartenders for the event. But they did great work in spite of.

2nd visit…So after a year I decided to try them again why why why it’s worst than the first visit. Again short staffed and the food was awful. Shrimp and grits a complete joke no gravy not to mention covered in cheese which is not listed. Spring rolls nothing but mush no texture at all. No 3rd visit for me I do not like to strike out.

Well… We had questions about some of the menu items and our waitress informed us that she didn’t know, because she was new….Ummm “I don’t know” is never the answer. How about “I’m not sure, but let me check.” If I hadn’t asked her to please find out from the chef/manager/etc, we just would not have known. Then, after we ordered she came back and said it would be a while before we got our food because they were trying to finish serving a large party that had been there for quite some time. Huh? Miss, why didn’t you tell us that before we ordered? Needless to say, when we told her we could not wait indefinitely (btw she could not give us a timeframe for our wait), she returned and said that it would only be a 20min wait. On another note, the DJ was ! We really enjoyed the music and dancing… Service, food and drinks not so much… I forgot to mention that they did give us a free round of drinks for the wait. That was a good thing (drinks were watered down a bit though…ijs). I would definitely return for the music and dancing. I added a video of my friends dancing.
