The atmosphere and decor were great. Service was polite and attentive. Food could have been better for the price. 2 drinks, 1 appetizer , and 2 entrees were roughly $200 with tip. I saw a few things on the menu I would like to try, so I definitely will give it another go. Also heard they have a beautiful patio, it was raining the day I was there.

Restaurant review: Great atmosphere at Social at the Stone House! Be sure to check out all 3 levels!! It looks like a small Castle or a mansion on the outside. The inside has magnificent art and decor and has a wonderful comfortable feel to it. I tried the shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, the salmon paired with wilted garlic spinach and flatbread chicken barbecue pizza. Excellent spice to the shrimp cocktail which is different, crab cakes were wonderful lump crab paired with an aioli sauce, great flavor. The flatbread pizza had a good amount of toppings, cheese and a nice kick. The salmon was okay it was a bit overcooked. I give the appetizers an 8 and the entrees a 6. Overall good food, great atmosphere and service, nice vibes.

Very good food! The steak, chicken, vegetables, shrimp and scallops were all deliciously packed with flavor. I still can’t believe how quickly it came out too. Our server was polite and didn’t visit us overly often. Felt a little weird at first, like eating in someone’s nicely decorated house, but I got over that quickly. I’d come here again. I didn’t notice any happy hour specials on the menu, but mixed drinks, beer and wine are available to order. I would come back here.

It’s is a unique experience. The cost of the food is the tough part. Small scallops with a whole can of corn with jalapeño sauce for almost $40, they tasted great. My wife got the Parmesan Chicken with zucchini noodles. The chicken was cooked well and the noodles flavorless.

I went in with my boyfriend because I always wanted to try the social, we got seated on the second floor after waiting for a little (yes I made an reservation) the waitress was nice but didn’t come around very often. The worst part was the food it’s expensive for little, the only thing I enjoyed was the soup. We got the 9$ tater tot skewers and it was cooked so much it didn’t even taste like potatoes at that point, as for my lamb chops it was little and was crunchy without flavor. My boyfriend got penne pasta and added chicken for 7$ more and the chicken was burnt on the bottom and for what they said was gonna be a creamy sauce on the pasta it was more coagulated than anything and even though the sauce tasted good the pasta tasted like it was still filled with water. When we got the bill they charged us for two cokes when I only had one, I don’t know if you had to pay for water and my boyfriend wanted to leave so he didn’t want me to say anything. I can say the best part of this place is the atmosphere and the fact you can brag about it but to be honest I wouldn’t brag about my experience.

My husband and I came for dinner for my birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel incredibly special. This is the best restaurant My husband and I have been to. It has atmosphere, incredible service (thanks Jessica!) and the food is amazing. We had the tater tot skewers to start. Then I had the steak bites and a side order of the Brussel sprouts. My husband had the steak and enjoyed the Old Fashions. For desert we had the chocolate cake. We absolutely loved our experience and are excited to come back

We finally got to visit this amazing place and it was worth the wait! We had delicious food in the most amazing environment! We loved the intimate individual dining areas, each with their own ambiance with cozy fire places and gorgeous decor. Jenna did an awesome job as our waitress! After our dinner on the second floor, we went up to the third-floor and sat in the comfy couches and had drinks in the unique bar area. We will be back and we recommend this place to everyone!❤️

I brought my husband here for his birthday – wanted to try something new and different. We both agree it was our favorite local dining experience to date! The home is absolutely beautiful! Our reserved table was not available when we arrived so we headed upstairs to the third floor lounge. Passing through the second floor, there were no people there, but it looked as though that area is designed for small parties/meetings with larger tables set up in individual rooms. Made a mental note to look into hosting a small event here in the future! The third floor lounge is beautiful! Loved the first drink I tried (called Figure it Out) and stuck with that for the night. My husband had two other drinks which were also great, but we both thought the figgy drink is where it’s at – we’d return just to hang in the lounge and enjoy one (or a few) of those! Once our table was ready, we headed back downstairs to the first floor. The environment was very intimate yet spacious! The decor and woodwork are beautiful. We wanted to try so many things from the menu, so we each got an appetizer, dinner and dessert. Portions sizes are perfect, presentation was beautiful, and and everything we tried we would order again! My husband ordered the scallops and they were cooked perfectly. The service was top notch! Our server remembered that I mentioned it was my husbands birthday when I made the reservation, so she brought out his carrot cake (which he said was the best ever) with a candle in it. Lovely touch! Other than our table not being ready for about 45 min later than our reservation (due to the prior guests lingering in conversation) everything was perfect. And honestly, we are glad our table wasn’t ready because we probably wouldn’t have wandered up to the third floor otherwise. We’ve dined at other houses/mansions so I was really excited to see this one had opened so close to where we live, and I was looking forward to surprising my husband. My expectations were definitely exceeded in all categories: atmosphere, cleanliness, service, presentation…but above all else, the food. My husband was so happy with the experience and it made for a great birthday dinner. We will definitely return and we will be recommending this beautiful place to all!

This is a newer local restaurant in a beautifully remodeled turn of the century home. The menu variety can accommodate any palette. You definitely need a reservation and if you don’t like climbing stairs this is not the place for you. The staff works together well and service is leisurely but efficient. The parmesan frites were a pass for me, they were cold and tasteless, but accompanied a perfectly cooked steak. Loved the wilted spinach, short rib sliders and the yellow fin tuna was sublime. Awesome cocktails. The gluten free carrot cake was a pleasant surprise and we actually preferred it to the cheesecake and chocolate cake. Very clean and social distancing is observed.

We were very excited to try Social! We made reservations online for a date night on a Wednesday. When we arrived, we were greeted and seated on the second floor. Each section of the mansion is beautifully decorated while maintaining the integrity of the original structure and the gorgeous woodwork. If you love old, stately homes, you will not be disappointed. Our server was extremely personable, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with drinks. My husband had a mocktail made with ginger beer, mint, and orange juice. It was delicious. I started with a limoncello with vodka – also very tasty. We ordered the chili lime salmon for him and the boubon-glazed pork chop for me. OMG, the flavors were perfect! After dinner, we explored to the 3rd floor, then down to the first, and then out to the patio – all I could say was “WOW”! We loved it there so much, that we bought our son and his wife a gift certificate for their own date night. We will be back! The only downside to this gorgeous property (and the reason I am not giving it 5 stars) is that it is not ADA compliant. There is no ramp for wheelchairs or walkers, and the entrance steps are a little tricky. (I have a disabled brother who would love this place.) I was told that we could access the patio, if needed, and dine outside. However, there is no easy access to a bathroom if you are wheelchair bound or on a walker from the patio. So, for all who are able to walk, this place is PERFECT! Thank you for a lovely date night, Social!
