We are a 160-seat fusion restaurant specializing in delectable fresh sushi and monster gourmet burgers with a full-service bar. We also serve cravable appetizers, authentic ramen, creative salads, and savory desserts. We carry a full wine list, varieties of sake, and extensive beer in addition to spirits. SOB is a locally owned family restaurant located at 612 4th St. in Peru. We carry AAA-grade sashimi sushi fish that is sustainably harvested and always wild-caught (not farm-raised). Our burgers are a custom blend of 100% beef brisket, short-rib, and chuck, with no fillers of any kind. Quality ingredients are the cornerstone of all our dishes; we believe passionately in providing only what we can be proud to serve you!

Stopped for lunch today. Flo’s was closed for the 4th of July holiday weekend, and that is where we usually go. SOB food was very good. Tempura shrimp, two different sushi rolls, an order of fries and a few beers – all perfectly done. The service was flawless – very attentive. We felt the prices were a little high. Ended up with an $83 tab for lunch. Yet, no complaints about quality or service.

Great Restaurant. Much better than going to the same boring stuff on the far north end of Peru. Wide variety of food to choose from. Hand cut fries were very good (too much salt on them though). Sushi was very flavorful and nicely presented on the plate. Many different burgers and sushi to choose from.

Fantastic modern atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food. I love that they have a unique menu and have options for non-sushi lovers. They also have a kids menu if you just ask. Their apple pie egg rolls are so tasty and do yourself a favor and splurge on the jalapeño bacon wontons! The BBQushi was by far the most interesting we tried and definitely my favorite.

Its was all amazing, we had sushi and hot sake it was more then we could eat, and tasted better then any other place I have been before. This is ten mins from starved rock and well worth the drive. Staff was on top of it as well. Would ask if we needed anything almost every time she walked by. We will be going again for sure. It will be are new go to stop for sure.

Ninja and Try This SOB rolls were bomb! A good Moscow mule as well as good service. The 4 of us were all very happy with our food and drinks. Easily one of the best places in Peru in my opinion!

Love the atmosphere. Lots of menu options. Must go back to try more! We went for lunch and I had the pb&j burger and the sushi burrito. I took the burrito home and had it for dinner that night. The beer and cocktails selection is also v good! The music was nice too. Very big inside.

I am very impressed that SOB has such excellent taste and options I had the Punch an SOB drink (be prepared for spice!), the tuna nachos (a meal could be made from just the nachos) and the I&M Roll… everything from the service to the portions to the presentation… I am definitely coming back to this establishment
