This place is super cool inside. It feels historical and I loved that the owner shared his own stories about Fairbanks. Thank you for the great service Rambo! I got the king crab burger and was surprised how good it is!

This place had kind of a creepy vibe to it. It was totally empty at a time when many of the other bars and restaurants were busy. The owner kept coming to our table to visit and didn’t pick up our hints that we just wanted to visit amongst ourselves. Because of this, we made it a quick stop and d on. The service, however, was good.

Very disorganized when I came in. A mixture of people waiting to get a table and people trying to check out. While I was waiting I was able to get the menu and not much to choose from but then again it’s more of a tourist diner. Got a table that a previous customer had and was not clean. I waited approximately 30 minutes and no one came to take my order. I gave this place a chance most likely will not be coming back.

We eat here on 7/6/23 – The owner Nick Stepovich is a great host and a wealth of local information. The food was good and milkless chowder was very good as well as the crab sandwich.

Had a nice lunch of Chowder and Alaskan King Crab burger, both were Alaskan size, beating Texas size by 2x!! The owner was busy introducing the stories of his grandpa Mike Stepovich and his dad Mike Stepovich II, once the territory’s governor in 1958-1959 before Alaska became the 49th State. A little lunch history lesson

We had to try the king crab burger. It was a mistake. Just another dry crab cake with king crab. Nothing memorable about it. The rhubarb pie was just as noteworthy. In other words, not at all. The owner and memorabilia were entertaining, our waitress Abby was outstanding. Fairbanks has better dining alternatives. Disappointing.

The menu isnt very big, the food is expensive and it was just okay. Sandwiches were $20-$25 each and weren’t anything special. Service was good though.

An absolute must see when you visit Fairbanks! A very short stroll from Golden Heart plaza and fantastic food. I wish everyone had the opportunity to listen to the family stories here.

If you’re looking for a small town dinner this place will check all the boxes! Bill the waiter was amazing. When I couldn’t decided between the pastrami and the Reuben, he put pastrami meet on the reuben and it was AMAZING! The owner was there and telling us about his family heritage, which is the memorabilia on the walls. Great place to stop in for lunch or comfort food dinner!
