We have been meaning to try this place for months now and finally made it in. It was good. We are glad we stopped. It has that beach front eatery feel to it obviously set in the snowy mountains of Utah. I had the So Cali Nachos with Al Pastor Pork. They paid attention to one of my biggest pet peeves with most places that serve nachos. They evenly layered cheese so once you get past the top layer all you are left with is chips. Kudos to them. The meat was used pretty sparingly, I would have liked more. My wife liked her burrito and my son had a quesadilla with the sweet pineapple pork and likes it. Both my girls had the kids meal quesadilla that came with rice and black beans. I am sure we will return.

This is such a cute place! Vety clean and nicely decorated. The outside patio was very comfortable for dining and visiting. I loved the names of the kids menu items! But I was disappointed with the food. I ordered nachos with chicken. And the flavors were just off. The nacho cheese sauce was somewhat sweet and the chicken had an unusual spice set…seemed like some nutmeg or cinnamon was used. I’d didn’t have a Tex Mex flavor that I was familiar with. The rest of my party was in agreement, the flavors weren’t quite right.

I just came here to buy Tamales because some of the reviews said “the best in Utah”… whoever left that review doesn’t know good tamales. First off they are extremely overpriced and they give you barely any meat. I went ahead and bought the dozen for 20 bucks. If I didn’t do that, it would be 2.50 for each tamale. Literally, one of my tamales was 90% masa (corn meal). One thing I aboslutely dislike about tamales is when they give me that these types of tamales. I also tried the tacoss.. the meat was dry and overcooked, and al pastor tacos seemed reheated. I hope this place changes the way they run things, i know its tough to do tamales and have them rdy for customers at a moments notices but if your gonna advertise tamales, please actually have meat in it… instead of just straight corn meal… worst tamales in I’ve had in a long time.

Really yummy food! I love the pineapple pork. The shredded chicken is a bit spicy. I got the two tacos and my husband got the four dipping tacos (they are in smaller shells). We both enjoyed. The employees were very friendly, there were plenty of choices and all fresh food! It is a little like Cafe Rio or Costa vida, but also many different choices!

Great addition to Salem restaurant options. All the meats were great. My favorite was the al pastor pork, but the pineapple pork was good as well. We had the street tacos, so can’t comment on everything, but they were very good by street taco standards. All of the salsas were fresh and tasted great. Mild green salsa was sweet, and the hot green salsa was my favorite. But not overly hot, so don’t be afraid to give it a try. A bit slow on the prep, but that seemed to be because they make sure they did things right, so I won’t complain. Interesting decor and convenient location.

So good!! We got a smothered burrito and steak nachos and everything was so delicious! Their red sauce was spicy (but not unbearable) and really flavorful. Their signature sauces; cilantro ranch and chipotle ranch, are definitely worth trying. All of the staff were super nice too. We will return for sure.

came here with my boyfriend, we shared some street tacos (each with a different type of meat) and loaded nachos- food was so good! Plus the owner and everyone that worked there was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely be returning again soon!

Two stars only because the service was good. My wife and I ordered the nachos and after trying them decided to get rid of them and go to another restaurant. They tout the freshness of their ingredients but the chips tasted store bought and the cheese was just like the nacho cheese from a giant Costco can. It was also topped with sour cream, guacamole, and beef which were fine but nothing special. The terrible chips and cheese really ruin everything else about it though. Maybe other options are better but the Nachos were bad.

The menu is simple, choose your meal choose your meat and choose your sides and choose one of their delicious sauces. We had a salad and a quesadilla each with chicken. Both were well seasoned and we tried all of their dips which were very flavorful. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The owner is looking into student and lunch specials for 5 dollars. The price for what you get was a great.
