Snoopys Pier was literally a product of the Redfish Wars, a battle over commercial fishing rights in the inland waterways and bay systems of Texas. Over time, the place was transformed with a lot of hard work and patience into a family-friendly seafood restaurant. We have an on-site fish house and shrimp breading facility that enables us to monitor and control the quality and freshness of our seafood. In 1993 Scoopy’s was added to give Snoopy’s customers a choice of tasty treats. Since then, Snoopy’s continues to be listed as the best on-the-water dining experience in Corpus Christi, as well as one of the top coastal restaurants in the country and a must-see part of the Texas Coast.

Upon entering Snoopy’s we noticed that the staff is very friendly. We felt welcomed immediately. We both ordered the Fried Shrimp Basket which came with 6 fried shrimp, French Fries, Hushpuppies, and Cole Slaw. It was all good.

After eating at Snoopy‘s pearl Oyster bar, it was nice to take a walk around the rest of service pier! There is an extended parking lot and car shuttle services if you are parked further away from the pier. If you walk towards the boat ramps, there’s also a sand volleyball pit, and a nice pier to walk down where you can see some of the marshy side of the bay. This is a great walk to have especially after sunset.

First time experience after relocating from the Midwest. Upon entering we were greeted by the smiling staff. First, we went to the wrong restaurant. However, the options on the oyster bar side were pretty tempting from seafood tower, oyster trio tower and other seafood treats. We ended up going over to the pier restaurant side and had great service yet again. We were given the recommendation for the full combo and we also order crab stuffed jalapenos. The food was great! I had a dozen fresh oysters to myself for starters. The ONLY issue was the not so well cooked fried oysters. Batter was still loose and wasn’t enjoyable with the raw breading. Other than that, it was a great outdoor eating experience. To all, stop by and try it! I recommend coming close to sunset to enjoy good service, meal, after meal cocktail and the beautiful sunset like no other!

We have been going to Snoopy’s for 28 years. In that time we have never once been unimpressed or left still hungry! I also love the new retail space. Every family member who visits us instantly blurts out “So, when we going to Snoopy’s. You simply can’t go wrong

Had high expectations of this place but it did not meet. I ordered the $27 broiled Mahi and the presentation was depressing. I’ve had better seafood. The atmosphere was nice and they do have outdoor seating. Staff was friendly and restaurant is next door to an ice cream parlor and oyster bar. They do not serve raw oysters here.

Great dockside eating experience. I had the combo platter which had fish, shrimp, and oyesters. My wife had grilled shrimp with rice and veggies. Everything was fresh as fresh can be. The food was amazing and so was the view.

I 100% recommend Snoopy’s Pier! I think my only complaint was that the parking lot was made out of oyster shells. But who cares. The food was outstanding and the best part? The atmosphere! My girlfriend and I grabbed a spot (it is self seating) that was all the way at the end of the pier and right on the water. We got there at about 5:15pm so it was perfect weather and we even got to see a very beautiful sunset! There were lots of birds and fish right next to the pier. Its a pretty cool area where humans and wildlife happily coexist. The staff was sure to remind the guests not to feed the wildlife. The vibe was very romantic with the sunset and we ate every single piece of food that we ordered. It was all delicious! I definitely recommend this location to anyone in the Corpus/Padre Island area!

First time here. Had the Fish and Shrimp combo. And the crab and cheese stuffed jalapenos. The crab and cheese stuffed jalapenos were ok I thought they would be better, but no. And the fish and shrimp was ok as well, but nothing to rave about. The fish had too much batter and not enough fish. Tarter sauce was homemade, but basic. The hush puppies were tiny and burned. Hush puppies are bigger and taste better at Long John’s. The food was very pricey. Over fifty dollars for those two items. Service was ok. It’s basically self serve once you get your order. No table service and I wish it would have been a better experience.

Excellent food, with a gorgeous view of the bay. I recommend getting their fried fish plate for dinner. Our fried mahi mahi plates with a drink came out to about $30 each, which is a bit on the pricey side, but worth it for the tender texture of the fish and great taste. Fries and hushpuppies were excellently prepared sides that I recommend you get. They also have a sauce and utensil bar in the restaurant where you can help yourself to any condiments and tea refills.
