The appearance at first I was a little unsure but then best hidden gems are found in the most unusual of places! W-O-W! HANDS DOWN, stick a fork in me I’m done searching. The absolute best has been found! Burnt Ends that are not burnt to a crisp and dried out. Moist, delicious flavor and the BBQ sauce PERFECTION! Ribs delicious dry rub lots of meat and cooked just right! The loaded baked potato w/brisket, green chili, sour cream, chives the works guys, this is a meal in itself! The Texas bean a tasty added side. And don’t call yourself BBQ if you don’t serve up some good ol’ sweet tea! These guys have it all and serve it up right! (No I am not a relative or friend, saw an ad on FB and drove into town 45 minutes to give them a try)

I had been personally recommended to this place by a friend since my in laws moved to the western slope. I’ve had BBQ in TX and all sorts of other places but I will honestly say the ribs and pork here are the best. The meat essentially melts in your mouth. The ribs stayed together until necessary- as soon as they hit your teeth- the meat is so tender and flavorful! We loved everything about it. The meat, the smoke, the sides and the BBQ sauces. Scott is doing it right. Woke up today planning on a breakfast burrito from there but I forgot it is Sunday. Only open Thurs-Sat and it’s definitely worth the wait. You can only do something this special a few days a week. I’m sure the rest of the days are prep to make sure the BBQ stays so great on the weekends. Thanks again, Scott!

I wanted to try this place when I was in town because of the amazing reviews but it was not as good as I hoped. The brisket fat cap was too large and should have been trimmed before smoking, especially for the price per pound. The ribs were pretty good but I noticed that the membrane was still on it which did not allow for the flavor to penetrate through and made them less tender. I really enjoyed the smoked sausage, it was easily the best thing on the menu. Staff was friendly and helpful but the atmosphere was a little lackluster as it was essentially just a few tables outside of an old self carwash.

Best BBQ in Colorado! Tons of food for the money. The original sauce is sweet & smoky and the spicy is my fav with a bit more vinegar and a slight kick. Brisket is sliced not chopped, as I prefer. Great smoky flavor on the ribs and the sausage has a bit of a kick too! Texas style beans have some tang to em, potato salad is well seasoned. Took my recent dinner to a local brewery.

Only brisket I’ve ever had that made me consider it as competition to Franklin’s. Stopped by on a cross country trip, sides were cold and we assumed that’s how they served them. While eating staff ran up to us with a full box of brisket and pulled pork with a large side of beans apologizing for the cold sides. Owner even checked in on us. Had bbq from Michigan to Texas and everywhere in between, this is as good as any.

Picked up brisket, pulled pork, and chicken on a Saturday for a party on Sunday. Everything was excellent, and the price was reasonable. And Snooks was very helpful on how to warm up everything, even texting us with tips and suggestions. For my husband and I, without a doubt the best BBQ in Grand Junction.

Tried their brisket seasoned burger today. All I can say is, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The flavors and quality beef cooked to perfection. Potato salad was fire as well! Seems like some great people too. Check them out!

The meat was all delicious. The sides were good. The loaded baked potatoes were too plain and could use some work. It would also be nice if there was some form of covering over the picnic tables. I’ll give this place another shot next time I’m in town.

Was a very toothsome display of bbq. Brisket was smoked with a delightful taste of bark and flavors. The ribs were easy to eat with a slight brown sugar glaze. I could have eaten a whole rack myself. They did a great job on executing a Texas style BBQ.
