Snarf’s simply has the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Bread is perfectly toasted, and lots of options for ingredients. It’s also kind of a Boulder icon – I usually take friends and family there when visiting. If you haven’t tried a sandwich from here, what are you waiting for?

First time ever to a Snarf’s. The service was fast and the food was great. I had the Cubano sandwich and it was delicious. My son had the chicken salad sandwich and after finishing it off, he finished off what was going to be my leftover half sandwich. My wife got the BLT and she said it was very good. Will visit again.

Brisket bbq was delicious. Made just right and meat was nice and warm. Bread lightly toasted..

Expensive and slow but great subs. Atmosphere is like a bus stop. Not comfy. It’s all about the food. Not sure why they are so slow to make sandwiches though? Prices and time keep me away. Recommended in general.

It was pretty slow but waited a REALLY long time for the food. Had to inquire as I thought my order may have been lost. Staff not super warm or polite. Biggest complaint is two medium sandwiches and a bag of chips was $32. Love a good sandwich but won’t be revisiting.

We went for lunch at Snarf’s yesterday. We ordered French dip which was great except for bread being burnt and not being asked white or wheat and a steak sandwich. The steak sandwich was horrid. A few pieces of meat and the bread was burnt. I took the sandwhich up to the counter to ask if this was right. Worker said it’s proportioned. For $12.99 I expected better. The workers did not offer to remake sandwich. This order also took 25 minutes.

The. Best. Sandwiches. Grew up in Boulder and have loved Snarfs for literal decades. Their meatball is probably my favorite, but there’s not a sandwich I’ve had of theirs that wasn’t fantastic. Of course it also doesn’t hurt that it’s walking distance from my parents. It’s a must visit every time we’re in Boulder!

Oh Snarfs, I used to love you. Unfortunately, recently the service and food has gone way downhill. The sandwiches are sadly empty, the price is up, and the employees are mostly on their phones. On my recent visit our order was wrong (twice), the food looked sad, and the bathrooms were dirty with nonfunctional items (no hot water, broken paper towel dispenser). Please bring back sandwiches full of great ingredients!

I used to love snarfs (great vegetarian sandwiches for reasonable price), it’s just hard to justify the $12.40 for a 7” sandwich that takes over 20 mins to make. Food still tastes great, but I might think about trying more local spots before visiting again.

I might be done with Snarfs. The value isn’t there (see my review of another location and being overcharged) and this place wasn’t any better even though I skipped the combo this time to be smarter. I waited a long time for a non-toasted sandwich. Because I had too much time on my hands, I couldn’t help but notice how dirty the establishment was. This floor hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. Zoom in… Look at the legs on that chair (and the chair in general). Hello, health department. Isn’t this a restaurant?
