This is a walk up snack bar. You order and they have outside tables under a roof covering. They are often busy but the lines are not bad. We often go for the ice cream. We split a sundae and are usually very full. Their fries and shrimp are good. The pulled pork just okay. If you are not a Vermonter you must have a maple creamee. Otherwise you missed Vermont.

A little pricey but honestly it was really delicious. I got a chocolate milkshake, partner got a root beer float, and we shared an order of a widow maker, with is French fries topped with delicious bbq pulled pork and cheese sauce. The portion size was huge for that. We were both full and didn’t even finish the full container. It was a perfect lunch for after hiking the trails near by the gorge and taking in the scenery. They had a nice area with picnic tables to sit either in the shade or under the sun to enjoy our meals.

This is the most delicious ice cream I have ever had! So creamy, its almost marshmallowy! And you’re surrounded by nature and a gorge and beautiful scenic routes- cant think of a better idea than a hike followed by some of the best ice cream on earth… which can be acquired here

Huge portions and fast service, we were spending the day in the area hiking and sightseeing and decided to try the fried seafood. The combos are very large and one is more than enough for two people. The scallops and shrimp were very good, the fries were not good.

Really expensive. Tasted good, but not enough for the price. Ask for haddock, received an hot dog cause the lady didn’t understand what I said. But 85$ for 3 hamburgers, a hot-dog and two french fries was so expensive that I didn’t ask for my haddock to pay even more. Won’t go back.

Ordered 3 haddock meals and a 1/2 & 1/2 seafood combo for take out. Stood by the counter to pick up for half an hour. We’ve watched many people come and go (we were order 52, they had just brought out order 99) when we asked if our food was done. Took them a minute to find where our order went. They’d bagged it up and set it aside in the kitchen. Never announced it. Didn’t apologize. So now we waited half an hour for cold fish and they don’t care a bit.

In the area from Pennsylvania.. food is very pricey for basic fried food. White haired lady behind the counter is very rude.. My husband was waiting in line with my 3 mo. old son while I changed my 22 mo. old’s diaper in the car.. when I was done, I went to meet my husband who was ignored up until that point.. suddenly we were acknowledged when the lady slid open the window and yelled – as i was still walking to my husband – saying I can’t throw the diapers in my hand in their trash can. I was a little confused considering I wasn’t even near the order window, or even a trash can yet, and just responded with “oh? ok.” means to say we opted to just leave since based on the lady’s attitude, and the price of the food, most of the money you spend goes towards funding their trash cans you aren’t allowed to use ♀️

We were looking for the quickie lunch before going to our daughter’s house so stopped by. She had told us they had many choices of hot dogs… Well turns out she was talking about the place at Quechee antique mall not the gorge… These were good with plenty of fries so it was a good mistake.
