Went in for brunch. Food and drinks were decent, so was the service. Potatoes in brunch dishes (Benedict, corn beef hash) actually deserves 5-star – well balanced crispy and tender parts.

Finally tried Smythe & Dove. Mixed experience. It’s beautiful. Extremely chic. Some food was great like the special seared tuna tonight which was of the best I’ve had. The crab cake (yes cake as in singular) was good but at $19 for one cake it wasn’t that great. The truffle fries were pretty good just enough truffle flavor. The sliders… was like a steak tip on a small bun and was done medium raw like barely cooked inside. I didn’t mind it personally but no way my fiancée would eat it and thankfully I tried it first. The creme brûlée was outstanding. Best I’ve had.

Andover is way too tough in this establishment. Service was awesome and food pretty tasty. ..a little pricey but I know you guys can afford it. I think menu is a little slim but better to do a few things well than bs a book full of dishes.

Drinks only this time {and the two times before}. Grab a seat at the bar with plenty of elbow room. Sharon, a friendly, capable and skilled mixologist, makes a proper old fashion worthy of having a second. Plenty of choices on tap, and wine by the glass too.

Great first impression; space is well designed and inviting. My wife and I were there early 5:30), and Steve was working the bar and the lounge. Steve is a great worker; pleasant, engaging, and knew his menu and provided recommendations. The food and drinks we ordered were well prepared and delicious. I just wish there were more options on the food side. The menu at the restaurant did not match the website, and one of the items missing is what somewhat drew us there. Prices are very fair. I would likely return. You may want to make reservations. As we were leaving, the place was filling up fast.

Really solid local steak house. Great atmosphere and good food. Would like it if they had some veggie options so my wife would let me come more often, but by en large, good spot. Extra spirit points for the wine selection and love the dessert list. You will leave with a very happy tummy!

Disappointing. Ordered a burger to be cooked medium/well. Burger was charred black on outside and blood red in the middle. It took a long time for server to come back to our table…and, at that point, I didn’t really feel like eating. So, I asked server to have the kitchen correct my order and make it to go. I made an attempt to eat my to-go burger the next day and same thing…charred black on the outside skin, blood red throughout.

We weren’t sure what to expect, but were impressed enough by what we saw on Phantom Gourmet to check it out for ourselves. Loved the barn art motif atmosphere. Perfect rustic appointments throughout from a beautiful pressed tin (copper?) ceiling right down to the faucets in the restrooms. Our server, Christina, was delightful and attentive.
