Me and my wife had wonderful food and great service. We went out for her birthday and ordered the crab legs. We had prompt service and our water never hit the bottom of our glasses, always being filled up. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends.

An ABSOLUTE wonderful restaurant. The food is the BEST!!! The staff is super courteous, helpful and professional. The inside décor is very nice and very clean. There is an outdoor deck right on the water that is very enjoyable. All in all my favorite restaurant in the area.

I visited in a group of 10. We had to wait awhile to get a table to accommodate all of us, but that’s to be expected. Our server, Amber, did a great job keeping the checks straight (There were three families.). Service was spot on, and all of our food came out within a few minutes. As usual at Smuggler’s, the staff was on top of refills and used dishes. Smuggler’s always provides a great experience.

Excellent food, exceptional service, generous servings. I had the Pork Steak Basket. The Steak was fork tender, juicy and very flavorful. About half my meal came home to enjoy another day. The Handicap ramp was gentle and easy to traverse. There’s both booths and tables which are easily accessible. The Ladies Room is also quite accessible. The serving staff are the kind that keep your coffee cup filled without you feeling like you’re being eagle-eyed. My experience was very pleasant.

Atmosphere was clean and friendly. I visited with a small group of people. The hamburgers were great, the steak was great, the crab legs were great, but the Walleye was slimey, hence the 4 star rating. I’m sure I just received a bad example of their dish, but this was the one and only time I’ve been there. The parking lot was literally overflowing traffic on to the street, so this is definitely a good restaurant to visit if you’re in the area. It also has a great view of Hess lake from every seat!

My wife and I had herd that this restaurant had good food and device! Needless to say we were very pleased with the great food and service last night . My wife loved the snow crab and my king size prime rib was nothing short of amazing. We will definitely come again.

The remodel is nice. The food is always good and the view is beautiful. It’s a cozy fish place for casual dining. Side note: I think it’s cute that they give ladies carnations on mother’s day.
