What two things go great together? Craft beer and delicious BBQ. Not only does Smoqued BBQ offer these two items separately, but we also blend them together when smoking to create a rich and complex flavor.
In addition to offering great selections of beer and BBQ, what else do we do? We do all this with another goal in mind– lowering our carbon footprint. Instead of using a conventional wood smoker , we use an electric smoker. Old wood burning smokers use 50 TIMES more wood than our electric smoker does, and all while cooking the same amount of meat. We also lower our footprint by using paper-products that have either been recycled or that are eco-friendly.

No…. just… no. We ordered delivery. Wife was not thrilled with the burnt ends. The macaroni and cheese was great. The half rack was half good and the other half was dry as hell. The banana soup was mildly flavorful.. I mean, the banana “pudding” was absolute garbage. You should not be proud of that and that particular item needs to be scratched post haste. We won’t be back. Thanks for the bad memories.

We came from PA and we’re looking for BBQ. So glad we chose this place. Great meats and they gave us all 5 sauces to try. Brisket, pulled pork, burnt ends and sausage all were great. Banana pudding is offered if u want dessert. I am gluten free which they understood perfectly and were very attentive and helpful throughout our meal. A GREAT experience!!

Tired this place for the first time and it was alright. The ribs weren’t bad just needed a little more rub/ flavor. However, it did fall off the bone easily. I’ll give them credit for that! The sauces are pretty good you just have to figure out which one pairs best with what you ordered. The beans were really good. Hot! temperature-wise that it burned my tongue. But besides that, the flavor was there. The sweet potato salad was different because it’s served cold. It wasn’t half bad but again I think it depends on what meat it’s paired with. The pulled pork was dry with no flavor and needed a lot of bbq sauce.

For a true barbecue fan, this is one of the best places you could go. I’ve been to many different state barbecue competitions, and this guy’s got to be up there with the best of them. I got the carnivores delight which was $25. The amount of food that he gave me, was well worth the $25. I definitely recommend this place.

Worst food I’ve ever had! $80 straight in the trash! Chicken is a shoulder or some byproduct on a bone. Pork so much fat couldn’t be salvaged. DON’T GO! My wife is a severe Celiac (becomes violently I’ll if she consumes wheat, rye, oats or barley). It is safe to eat here for Celiacs! The food is hearty and delicious! They have many side dishes and different sauces to compliment the barbecue. Service is quick and kind. I would highly recommend Somqued Barbecue in Simpsonville, SC!
