We feel that Bar-B-Q should never be eaten alone, always with friends and family. It’s our goal at the Smok’n Pig to be that gathering place with a southern tradition and old time Bar-B-Q, freshly prepared country cookin just like Granny and Papa used to do back in the day. So relax, sit back and enjoy.

Eating here will have you feeling like you are eating high on the hog. Fantastic, juicy meats with flavorful sides combined with a day where kids eat free? A true high valued, better priced eatery where I felt the value of my money wasn’t just met but exceeded.

The food is delicious. The peach cobbler with ice cream is a must. Love the large booths and tables so you can spread out while eating the ribs and chicken. My husband and I shared this plate and was full.

Returning from Florida we stopped for a meal after hearing good things about Smoking Pig. We were not disappointed!

I’ve been here several times. Started with the salad bar, always fresh and well stocked. I ordered the 3 meat platter choosing the quarter white meat chicken, ribs and sliced brisket. The meat was fresh hot and well smoked. I also ordered a buttered sweet potato and corn on the cob. For dessert I had the peach cobbler with ice cream. If your in Valdosta you need to come here for a meal!

This place is just short of ok, wouldn’t go here again. My dad said his steak was the worst he ever tried. It tasted more like boiled beef than a steak. Green beans were edible. There is no way to just order a plate of salad, you have to go to the salad bar which I’m not a fan of. This place has very limited vegetables or other healthy options. The wings, fries, sweet potato, and ribs were good but nothing special. A lot of fat on everything. The space itself is ginormous, so I can’t imagine them running out of seating. The water we got looked pink, I’m not sure if that’s because it got mixed with lemonade in the soda machine. The cups were also styrofoam which is just not great for the environment.

Very big portions. We ordered several things thinking they’d be small portions. Everything was good and would’ve been really good if not so so salty. My hubby salts everything and he thought the batter on the mushrooms, onion tanglers, and okra was to salty. He had teriyaki wings, very good. I had garlic butter grilled shrimp, but they weren’t really grilled, they came in foil like they were steamed.. but they were good. My 2 sides were baked beans- not great but not terrible, and the fried okra.. the pc of buttered Texas toast would’ve been good had it been slightly toasted… for$2.99 I got the salad and dessert bar, just a small salad bar but good and the dessert bar was ice-cream, peach cobbler and banana pudding. One thing I didn’t like was having to wait for the waitress to bring you a salad plate or a small Styrofoam bowl for dessert… but the staff was very nice and helpful. Oh and the bathrooms are way back through the last dining area, through an opening and to the right, and the staff sit at the long table in front of the opening so you have to go around them and the table. I guess they ready and roll silverware there… kinda weird.

The overall experience was great, especially with the company I went with. The server was attentive, the salad bar fresh, and the atmosphere fine. The only reason all five stars aren’t there is I had a particular taste for the smokey barbecue-grill type flavor, and the meat didn’t have it and the baked beans seemed basic from a can. However, I ordered a combo with chicken and brisket- baked sweet potato and baked beans and the salad bar… the price was amazing, the plate was full, and the sauces were Amazing! I will go again for sure!

Nice looking place with a huge parking lot from the outside. Very clean and appeared well organized inside. Our waitress was younger and probably could use some more training but the service was “ok.” Got the wrong meat on my order but it was quickly corrected.

The SMOKE PRIME RIB was absolutely delicious! It was season just right! The corn bread & collard greens were was good. The macaroni and cheese was BAD…it taste like the one in a box with fake cheese . The pork chops, corn & roasted potatoes were good. They offer a variety of platters, sides dishes, drinks, BBQ, dessert/ice cream and children menu. Liz, our waitress provided an excellent service; she was friendly, attentive and efficient. The place was busy, but our food didn’t took long.
