Sorry, I hate to say anything negative about a local business but….I ordered 2 platters plus 2 additional sides for take out ($37) then waited and waited, 8 dine in and 1 take out came in after me, all got their food before me, took almost 30 minutes, got home and the extra sides were missing, did get credit when I called. Fries a little too seasoned for my liking, chicken chunks way too big (not chopped) and had to cut up, unfortunately just not impressed especially with the service, probably won’t visit again. I’m sure others have had a better experience then mine.

Place an online order with them today now that they are back open & have that service. The food was hot and fresh as soon as I got there to pick up. The employees are very nice here and the food is just as good as it used to be if not better. 9.5 out of 10 for sure.

I stopped by Thursday afternoon 8-17-23, the place looks great, clean and the food was good. The issue….slow, slow, slow service. After I placed my order I waited for 40 minutes to receive my to go order.i was the only customer in the restaurant at the time, several young employees were standing around talking to each other and several were on their phones. Evidentiary my order was overlooked by the goofing off of the kids even though I was the only customer. I like the smoking pig and have been to all their locations. This location needs some management stucture.

If you find yourself in Williamston for some reason, this is where you want to eat. Great chopped pork plate with generous portions. Three sauces, mild (ketchup and vinegar base), medium (mustard and vinegar), medium spicy (vinegar and spices). Pork rinds served at table for only a $1 and are about as fresh as pork rinds get. The potato casserole was great. Fries were crispy outside and soft inside. Blackberry cobbler with ice cream was great (hint:you can get as one of your sides). Enjoy!

We were out exploring, and came upon this gem. We went with the chopped pork platter it came with two sides and a sweet role for $12.95. Our sides were sweet potato casserole which tasted devine!) and the baked beans. The beans had a distinct molasses flavor and were very sweet. Clean and neat restaurant. Booths and tables for seating. Extra parking in the back up a short steep incline. Great for serving a large group.

I have enjoyed eating at their Smokin Pig restaurants in Pendleton and Easley. Decided to try their new Smokin Pig Express when dropping my daughter off at college. It was WONDERFUL! The food is what you’d expect from the Smokin Pig! My family had pulled pork plates and chicken sandwich plates. Their food is amazing. The fries are the best around. The jalapeño cheese grits are one of my favorites. The service and atmosphere do not disappoint. Give it a try when nearby!

This place has the absolute best barbeque I’ve EVER had. I order the beef brisket and I can easily eat it for 2 days. The portions are great, and the flavors are unforgettable. You wouldn’t expect to find this place in little old Williamstown , but believe me and my family, YOU WANT TO TRY THIS PLACE OUT!!

Until tonight, I’ve only gone to the Smokin’ Pig in Pendleton and it’s always been top notch. Tonight, we placed an online order for the location in Williamston and, unfortunately, the person who went to pick it up is not the same person who ordered it, so they didn’t think to get the 2 teas we’d paid $4.50 for. That was the least of it. I’ll start with no rolls. They must have also given us the pile of fat you cut off the brisket. The pork was full of some substance I kept having to spit out. I didn’t try the ribs, but I’m told they were ok. The loaded potato casserole had a flavor that can only be described as rancid oil. I was looking forward to the peach cobbler. At least I would have something to eat, but as you can see in the picture below, I don’t know what this was, but I didn’t even attempt to taste the soggy bread floating in water.
