Best BBQ I’ve had, huge portions(although with this economy they have cut back a little) & a good variety from their menu! Family owned so you feel welcomed at every visit. My one & only complaint is the hours 11am until about 2:30pm, wish they were open until much later, I think 7pm would be fantastic, but no one asked for my input, so,there’s that! Closed on Sunday & Monday, they also close down for family vacations.

Wow…been a while since I was here. Smoking out the back of the trailer…it’s good. Bit of a line means people are coming back. Family had brisket, short ribs and I had the pile od Starr Special…good stuff. NO complaints or leftovers! Sweet and spicy sauce is excellent with just a slow burn. Highly recommend!

I like this lil food truck. They are always smoking some delicious bbq. Brisket is their most popular and sells out fast but I highly recommend the pulled pork dinner with 2 sides and a large cup of flavored lemonade (my favorite is strawberry lemonade but they have many flavors). I think their Star special is pretty popular too with fries smothered in bbq, cheese, jalapeños and more yummy stuff. It’s all outdoor seating at picnic tables in the shade and there’s a big selection of their home made bbq sauces.

Food was tasteless. I ordered the chicken on the bone with two sides. The chicken was cold, fried cabbage was good although the potato salad tasted like it was bought from winn dixie. My girlfriend got the pork nachos which were lacking flavor as well.

Absolutely fantastic array of Florida BBQ. Worth the afternoon drive. Some of the sides were only slightly on the skimpy-side but I’m not complaining. Atmosphere fantastic but outside sink wasn’t working when tried to use it on my last visit. Dogs apparently are very welcome with their masters. It is quite the place to be Saturday at lunchtime.

I grew up going here since the early 2010s and after living in North Carolina and Texas I’ve gotta say Joe’s definitely still holds up. Lots of nostalgia, but few things for me beat a plain Starr Special with hot and Carolina gold sauce spread all over the top. Glad this place is still around!
