The food overall was good but the potato salad was terrible! The pieces of potato was hard as rocks! It tasted like it was straight out of the carton! It had no flavor, it tasted bland (see photo) one bite was all I could take. I also noticed the slice of white bread was missing? Why? Puzzling…. Also, the seating is not very comfortable if you like flat and hard chairs (see photo) you will do ok here. The brisket always came in many small slices, this time it was one thick slice. Just my observations for what their worth… just sayin’ …

Excellent Brisket! Hubby had Double Barrel Sandwich and said it was perfect! Some of the best brisket i’ve had since it’s my go-to order at any BBQ joint. We stopped for an overnight in Blackfoot on our way to Montana and read the recommendations so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. Looks like hard working people who know how to do BBQ right! My husband and I were happy we decided to stop in to this restaurant! We just moved from St. Louis, and have visited other well-known BBQ cities in the Midwest. We are very pleased to announce Smokin’ Gun BBQ is able to hold its own in the barbecue world! We were very satisfied with our meal, and highly recommend the smoked turkey as well as the ribs. The overall atmosphere is great, and the service was superb. it’s hard to find good customer service sometimes, but these guys know what it is. We will definitely be back, and will bring our friends and family.
